Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Martin Necas has 20 faceoff wins in 6 games played. He was C, RW last season and should be again.

    Recommendation: change from RW to C/RW

    NHL.com and the Carolina Hurricanes official site list him as C, and he is currently alternating between C and RW during games. He has taken several faceoffs each game (including one game where he took 10).

    Sean Monahan will only play on the RW this season with the Montreal Canadiens. Please update it !!

    Can you add RW to Sean Monahan (C). He's playing RW on the 1st line with Montreal Canadiens.

    Riley Smith has played every single game so far on LW. He should have LW eligibility!

    Brayden Point plays on RW during games, he should have RW eligibility added

    Granlund should be C/RW (top 6 on nashville is the same)
    Vrana shouuld be LW/RW he plays both sides
    Tage Thompson should be C/LW

    Please add RW eligibility to Claude Giroux. He’s been playing RW since his trade to Florida Panthers. Both nhl.com and daily faceoff confirm he is RW.

    Elias Pettersson has been playing LW since November. Needs C,LW.

    Matt Boldy has been playing mostly at RW since being called up. Needs LW,RW.

    When is Elias pettersson getting C, W? He goes back and forth from wing to center yet you have him just as center. ESPN app has it correct. Come on yahoo

    Elias Pettersson is currently playing on the Left Wing and he should have his position updated to C, LW as he is not a strictly Center anymore. Everyone is waiting on this.

    Pettersson Is starting games on the wing, playing full games on the wing.... can we please end the debate around his eligibility and get him w status
