Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Hintz should have RW eligibility. Him and Pavelski regularly switch between C and wing.

    Tkachuk got C added to his position when he only takes draws on the powerplay.

    Zegras has been playing wings since before Leo Carlsson got injured. Just look at the amount of faceoff he takes.

    Gustav Nyquist (LW), add RW
    He's been playing all year on a line with O'Reilly (C) and Forsberg (LW)

    Stamkos continues to play at RW (Nick Paul is at LW on that line). Stamkos also listed as RW on Daily Faceoff.

    Ivan Miroshnichenko should be listed as NA. He was sent to the AHL on 12/30/2023.

    Stamkos should have RW eligibility. He often plays that wing.
    Rantanen should have C eligibility. He takes tons of faceoffs.

    Steven Stamkos has played RW for much of this season. Both Leftwing Lock and Daily Faceoff have him at RW. He should have RW eligibility like he has in previous seasons.

    Practically the entire time Zegras was healthy, he was playing LW on line 1

    Yegor sharagovich plays rw on the first line. Please add Rw to his position

    Hintz is listed as rw by the Dallas stars. Please update hintz position to include rw.

    Pavelski has rw, plays with hintz and takes more faceoffs each game than him

    Paul Cotter from Vegas Golden Knights isn't playing centre but yahoo haven't add him a RW position. thanks

    You ignore all of the suggestions of users, why have this forum if you just ignore all the suggestions, even though most of the ones I’ve seen, including mine, are undeniably correct!

    Seriously, Yahoo runs Fantasy Hockey and they have no clue which positions players should be in. It’s embarrassing how bad you guys are. Time to move the pool to a platform that knows at least the obvious positions. You guys have players with positions that they haven’t played in at all or in years, just following ESPN blindly because you’re too lazy to do the tiniest bit of work to change or add a designation.

    Nikolaj Ehlers is listed as a LW but has been playing RW throughout the season.

    Please add RW eligibility for Ehlers.
