Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa. William Nylander (TOR) - RW should have LW,RW eligibility. He is cemented as TOR PP1 LW.

Byfield is a LW, Vilardi is a RW, Slafkovsky is a RW, Cotter is a LW, Perfetti is LW, etc.
Don't forget about them.
Also, commisioner tools to change positions might be OK in a normal league, but to sit and change 520 players worth of position eligibility creates a TON of work and creates a lot of politics (teams that lobby get their players changed vs. teams who don't, etc.) and honestly it's MUCH easier for you (Yahoo) to just do it impartially.

Nino Niederreiter, add LW. Plays Both wings, has played mostly LW this season. Rafael Harvey-Pinard, add RW. Plays both wings, has mostly played RW this season.

Filip Forsberg and Elias Lindholm should both have RW eligibility based on their current deployment.
