Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa. There are a whole bunch of players who are listed by Yahoo on their profile pages and on the Position Eligibility page as gaining eligibility at additional positions who don't have those options on the team pages. This is for public leagues.

Quinton Byfield C is incorrect. In his professional career, he has played more on either LW or RW than C. Slated to be LW this season with the LA Kings.

Nino Niederreiter listed as RW is incorrect. I believe he has played more C and LW in the past 82 games than any other position. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Point is only listed as a center and plays with Stamkos who is listed as a center/Lw.
Stamkos takes more faceoffs than B. Point every year.
First game of the season 10/10/2023 B.Point went 0/2 on faceoffs while Stamkos was 12/17 on faceoffs. Point needs to have a LW added to his position -

Brayden Point needs to get a winger position added to go along with his center position. He plays with Stamkos who is considered a c,lw yet stamkos takes way more faceoffs than Brayden Point. Look at the first game of the season. Point 0/2 fw, Stamkos 12/17 fw
Changes need to be made. -

Point should also receive a C,LW designation alongside Stamkos as they share the C duties.
