Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Yahoo’s inability to update multiple players positions has been a massive downside to this platform and a reason many will leave next season. Letting managers have the ability to change positions is a scapegoat and mostly useless as many leagues cannot manage this feature. Players like Ehlers and Slafkovsky have been playing RW for months now and there’s no eligibility added.

    Elias Lindholm IS playing RW in Petterson’s line.
    Check lineups from DailyFaceoff or LeftWingLock.

    JT miller has been playing LW with lindholm down the middle. Pleasee add LW for JT miller.

    Ehlers has been playing RW for a long time now. Elias Lindholm also RW x 2 games. Has Huberdeau ever played C in his life? Please update.

    Wyatt Johnston is now the starting RW for the Dallas Stars... he needs eligibility for RW. Rotowire depth chart which Yahoo uses has him at RW as does cap friendly, espn, daily faceoff, etc. Please update!
