Playoffs - Edit matchups for every round
This feature would allow commissioners to edit the matchups for every round of the playoffs. Currently, only the first round of the playoffs can be changed.

In our league we pick our opponents for the first and 2nd round of the playoffs, it makes for more fun and as the top seeds sometimes you want to play someone other then the 8 seed. the first round we have no issue changing but the 2nd round we can’t change unless we reach out to Yahoo and get them to manually change it. This would be a lot easier if we were allowed to change all rounds.

in the 2nd round of playoffs, the 2nd placed manager played the 3rd placed manager and they drew 4-4 .. the 3rd placed manager was awarded the win based on what they had done over the regular season vs the 2nd ranked player ... a horrible way for the 2nd placed manager to lose and totally unfair!!! unhappy commish!!!

what about the commish who freezes all lineups except his??? What is our recourse???

Are you kidding? Active manager's are rewarded for managing their teams all year! You could have a team with a empty seat manager win a playoff round by virtue of luck and a manager that played all year lose! That'd be much more disappointing.
50% of the teams is a good rule of thumb - and guess what? That's what the NHL does! -

Would like more playoff teams in fantasy hockey (8 is max and we have 18 teams in the league)

We play a ten person league and we want to have ALL teams in the playoffs. Its boring for the 2 player teams that can't play the last few weeks. PLUS we do a final loser award and we would love to have those players have a fighting change to do abit better.

I’m also all for the retro activating the stats as the commish..... if someone purposely tanks and isn’t dressing there players it could destroy the whole league if the commish could add in whatever points were scored by the players left on the bench it would still keep the integrity of the league. In keeper formats where next years draft goes to the last place team, bottom feeders get the urge to “forget” to dress players. It not only helps them get to the bottom faster it also can ***** the top of the standings and playoff positioning. Just one extra point in head to head leagues can change a lot in the standings.

THIS USED TO BE POSSIBLE. I edited someone's lineup during the McDavid year because he very obviously tanked. So I went in and made it some he set his lineup every day. It changed the outcome of the matchup.
Due to limited tiebreakers in hockey (supposedly you can choose in mlb), we instituted our own tiebreaker for this season. I assumed I could edit things if there was an issue but nope...Yahoo removed it for hockey.
Give commissioners adequate power please.

This would allow leagues to implement penalties on users who break league rules (dock them wins, etc.). Being able to edit standings or playoff seeding would add a greater dimension to leagues.

idk... just got in a bit of a kerfuffle with my commish because the scoring settings were changed after the draft, which was really irritating for those who came up with a draft strategy based on those initial settings. So, idk the difference between your league and ours, but our commish totally has the ability to make changes post-draft (for example, he removed plus/minus, added "points" and "GWG", among other things). I personally think that the scoring and settings should be automatically locked at least 30 minutes before draft time because it's not fair to those who put the time and effort into researching a draft strategy

No offense but this has got to be the stupidest idea ever. You draft particular players based on certain stats being scored. You then want to be able to change the stats being scored part-way through the season? How does this benefit anyone other than the commissioner and/or his buddies?

Through part of the season a league or commissioner may want to change scoring stats or points how can we do this?

I agree-would like to add goals/assists for goalies but can't now that the season has started.

Exactly. There is no need for a two week delay. We were ready the morning of Oct 2nd, and now have to wait till Oct 14th for our season to start. This is a giant pain in the ***.

Why not let league manager for hockey fantasy change the stats setting once the league have started ? Some people in my league wanted to had points for shordthanded goal/pass and I have notice that there's an error for the GA stat which is positive and should have been negative. It seems that every other sports on yahoo fantasy can change their stats setting once the league have started

Our draft results were entered the night before the season, but because the lineups are set weekly we can't have active lineups for week 1?!?! Retro points for head to head would fix this.
OR GIVE THE COMMISH POWER TO SET LINEUPS EVEN AFTER A WEEK HAS STARTED! Other websites give the commish adequate power.
