    I'm sorry to bother you with this but it is a bad time for me . I had to make a sudden trip to Philippines due to some urgent matters to help my sick sister, she was diagnosed with (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) a type of Blood Cancer and had been undergoing treatment lately.   2. I just created this email account , have not given it out to anyone , yet i am already getting SPAM from Viagra pervs . Yahoo the culprit ?

    Although i will admit I may have used this old account years ago lol , but dam shouldn't old spammers be gone by now ? Warning to anyone receiving SPAM it may be because you are using an old closed out account that you may have forgotten you used before . SPAM is a permanent **** on closed accounts as well .

  4. Please get rid of 'Back to message' action.

    Why shoud we do extra action after sending a message and 'Press 'Go back to message' button'?? We should be redirected to Inbox automatically!

    First of all, I take umbrage at Yahoo's suggestion that the browser I choose to use is not the most current available for my operating system.

    Because I choose Open Source software over corporately owned software, you are making a conscious decision to deny me the benefits of your 'new and improved' Yahoo email web UI. On what basis to you take it upon yourselves to tell ANYBODY what software they shall or shall not use? That is the height of hubris by any reasonable person's standards.

  6. Nothing works anymore. Hope Verizon puts Yahoo out of its misery ...

    First Yahoo Finance got destroyed and despite thousands of objections by users, it go worse. I left Yahoo Finance for Morningstar. Now these jokers are destroying Yahoo Mail. Not much works. Its slow, I have to log in every time, even if I refresh the page. Pages don't load completely, etc, etc. Moving on to Google and gmail. Hope Verizon puts Yahoo out of its misery completely. Thank you and good bye.

  9. Make it work

    I switched back to basic after the "full featured" version slowed to a crawl. Now the same thing is happening to basic. Have been with yahoo mail since it first began. So congratulations on finally getting to change my account to an email server that does not make me wait 5 minutes to type every letter. And if you think I would ever pay for ad free just to have the same thing happen you are out of your mind.

  10. get rid of the annoying Bell icon on yahoo home page

    please remove or give us a way to hide or remove the annoying bell Icon on home page that keep having a red dot with 1 in it trying to get us to add something it is very ANNOYING and some of us don't wish to add **** to home page to have it load even slower.

  12. Now I know why Yahoo is losing money. What a joke you have become.

    I am sick and tired of having to confirm on my phone that I am logging in on my computer. Why should I have to do this every single time? Every time you try to make mail better you make it MUCH worse. I have to use basic because the other is a JOKE. I am in the process of changing everything to another email account. Once completed I will just cancel this account if company can't get their act together.

  13. Don't automatically mark my emails as read until I ACTUALLY read them.

    Emails should not be marked as read until they are ACTUALLY read. Every time I open my inbox, every new email shows as read and it makes it difficult to truly see what is new and what is old.

    a mass delete option for the inbox; it can be like googles hit select all twice it ask are you sure, you say yes it selects all e-mails and you can delete them all

  15. Somehow, after I had cleared my cookies etc, I got a version of Yahoo! email that asked me to verify myself EVERY time I logged in! Stink!

    The "Previous" and "Next" buttons are often dimmed (& unavailable). It just randomly seems to happen. Whichever way it comes up in a mailbox (inbox, sent, trash, . . .) it stays that way until I go to another mailbox.
