Basic Mail provides base functionality like reading and writing messages, but does not include many of the advanced options. To use these features, we recommend upgrading to full-featured version of Yahoo Mail.

  2. This new page set-up is TERRIBLE.

    TOO MANY problems to list. For example: "Delete" cannot be accessed unless I go back to the top & find it --- every time! It's ridiculous. I've been w/ Yahoo for many years, but I'm "this close" to changing. This is STUPID.

  10. fix search so it once again searches all emails in your acct.

    Currently we are unable to search more than a few days back in our mail box. Does it have anything to do with how much you have in your storage? We need access to some tech support. Quick fix does nothing for us and there is no place to send in what our problem actually is to get an answer.

  11. Trashy, dating, etc. sites

    For the last six months or so they all kinds of trashy sites keep coming in on my email. Got to click the box 2 times to spam them but they are right back the next day with another new one. Spam doesn't do any good. Any suggestions....deleting yahoo is my suggestion.

    I'm tired of Yahoo suggesting that I change my password and add a mobile number each time I log-in. If someone hacks into my account it won't be because I compromised my account. Also, my mobile number is none of Yahoo's business. In fact, the more personal info you (Yahoo) has on hand...the easier it is for my identity to be compromised, STOP THIS!!! And, when I try to access my email account on my smartphone via the mobile site, Yahoo won't allow me. It's blocking my log-in in order to push me to download the app. I don't want…

  14. Ridiculous that I have to verify my identity every time I visit my hometown in MExico

    I think that just putting in my password is just enough to verify who I am..no one else knows it..I have to go through a message verification and my cell phone does not work here or a verification code in my hotmail..Why should I have to go through this every time?

  16. Switching back to BASIC is ****, I SAVE the setting EVERYTIME and it NEVER WORKS!!!! **** **** ****!!!

    Make the Save botton work in the Ymail SETTINGS.
    Or just remove the Classic option alltogether it is SLOW and it irritates.

    what use is a SAVE button when it never remembers the setting.

    All November and December emails disappeared for 12 Hours, then I clicked the alianz sponsored advert and everything was back to normal. It has happened 3-4 times this month. Is this done to push us to open the advert?

    below is the reply from support, you do what they say and its a run around, nothing will help you, they say call them,,,,,,,,your on hold for 5 minutes then they hang up on you,,,,,,,,i get a response like below , its a generated response for every problem , WILL NOT HELP ME AT ALL, why don't they have a actual e-mail address to write to....
