I also have been scammed by an advertiser on yahoo. I first thought that the deal was "too good to be true", but since I thought that Yahoo is a reputable sight, I sent the seller money. The seller did not send anything to my address. The tracking number only says that my package was sent to a garage at my alternate address. (I only have one address, and I don't have a garage) The post office would not give me the alternate address, and neither would the seller. The seller did send something, but it wasn't what I bought. I bought the 12000 watt generator for about $100.00. The post office said that what they delivered weighed much less than a generator.
Now, the generator is being advertised again, for $100.00, which would be a great deal, if it was real. IT IS A SCAM! Yahoo does not research their advertisers in order to protect their readers. Yahoo only takes money from advertisers to post on their platform. Yahoo doesn't seem to care if their readers get scammed, only the money they get from advertisers.
When I tried to let Yahoo know what happened, Yahoo wanted me to pay them to listen to me.
