4. Shame on Verizon-Yahoo.

   Well OK, in 2020 & we are past the the age of ubiquitous Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) software. So, why is my Verizon-Yahoo (VY) account still relegated to 2001 software standards?
   
   Today, my VY email can still only allow attachment less than 25 Megabytes to outbound personal email. I do not want to send all of my home .mpg files via Google & Gmail.
   
   Also, for clarity, I enjoyed the 'set&forget' nature of Verizon-Yahoo email until it became painfully clear that my account(s) have been flooded with waves of SPAM that have not only marginalized the identity-integrity-independence of my VY email account...it has erased the identity-integrity-of years of hard earned work & participation & collaboration.
   
   They say Verizon is out of the email business...that my VY email is not administered on Verizon servers. This is a technical detail, an organizational aberration...for clarity, Verizon owns, Yahoo & AOL their email servers.
   Will Verizon-Yahoo please re-instate some kind of standard for their email customers? I participated in all of the initialization sequences that occurred in 2015-2016 transfer & porting of Verizon email servers to Yahoo in the hope of acquiring better service. The more automated service should allow better access, and protection…it does not. For clarity, I find that very, relevant, 'Career Acquisition Process' emails get deleted from my local account & it is quite difficult to report these observations (complaint) anyone at Verizon-Yahoo.
   Shame on Verizon-Yahoo... the waves of digital noise has broached the continuity & reciprocity of data & information stored over 20 years with Verizon-Yahoo. This make revival of necessary, documents, images, conversations & credentials for clinical purposes almost, impossible.
   
   The salvation of the process is that there are alert, energetic folks staffing the live call lines…that is how I found this forum. The only other alternative is to deal with the ‘Bot Napoleonic complexes’ of what passes for online persona puerile personalities & be subject to the associated temper-tantrums.
   I request Verizon-Yahoo’s advice-assistance to institute some form of governance...some form of, applied, rational & reproducible, Knowledge Management principle(s) to the accounts of their long-term(20 year) customers.

6. Ads should not interfere with someone needing to enlarge the screen to read please fix this issue. It happens to a lot to visually impaired

   People who need to enlarge their screen to read Yahoo should not have the frustration of having an ad interfere with reading contact. Often there is no way to X out these ads and they interfere with a person's ability to read anything on yahoo. Even a slight increase causes the ads to jump all over the page and prohibit reading contact. Yahoo Please Please fix this, you would have many more subscribers. This is a frustrating and unnecessary problem that prevents so many from enjoying your content. There should be a way for someone to enjoy reading Yahoo and be able to see the larger print without ads jumping all over the page. Your sponsors should be mandated to have an X to stop the ad from blocking the page. Many (Most) do not in an attempt to get the person to wind up on their site. This is discrimination and in my opinion demonstrates unethical business practices. Please fix this!

13. I'm in genuine pain. MY EYES HURT! Please being Dark Mode to 'Basic' mail!

    I hate the format change, and when reverting to the 'basic' version, the ability to customize the background was taken away...so I'm forced to use the BRIGHT BLINDING WHITE BACKGROUND.

    IT HURTS!

    I'm NOT kidding. The bright white background physically hurts my eyes. Prolonged exposure to bright light gives me headaches and causes visual issues.

    I'm POSITIVE I'm not the only person in the world with this problem. leaving the white background as the only option is an accessibility issue for people for people who are visually impaired, people like myself who are sensitive to bright light, photophobia...dark mode is easier on our eyes.

    The least Yahoo could have done was taken people with visual issues/disabilities when making changes. The forced change is total ********. Sorry for the swearing...but my eyes ache after just a few minutes of trying to see if there was a way to bring a dark screen back to the 'basic' version.

    I started my email account in 1994...and this has nothing to do with not liking change. As far as I was concerned, the old format may have needed a tweak or two, but overall...it was perfect and Google/Outlook could have taken pointers from the things Yahoo Mail does right.

    I can't use a product that causes me physical pain when I use it. If they don't change their 'basic version' back to the version I was using...I'm done.

    I don't know if this was change for the sake of change, but if you told me you had a group of Yahoo users do product testing on this update and the results were overwhelming positive, I'd say you were lying.

16. getting yahoo in your device to help when you can get an apple id started!

    Since 11 months. my new iphone 13 pro max has been compromised, lucky i had. older computer training , however its like fightiing a war against 6 people with their computers, tho, it be nice to have a way to get yahoo in to help me zap them out! i tried. on my iphone that the hackers have locked me out only as i see they are using it for them, i tried safety check unlike my ipad that. is newer it worked pretty good. the mac computer hacker,& watch showed, there was no quick shots to kick them out as apple said. i believe yahoo has shown good tech skills and once they get in they can help me, i know this. however each day apple saysi can get my apple id up the next day this has been going on for 6-7 weeks, while they use my apple devices. just not sure what they using for money! good luck. and be strong people! anf thanks to tech guys like Yahoo and few of the good sprint techs i met! 👍
