Comments are sometimes entertaining but frankly add nothing to the discussion.
Many/most seem to be from wingnuts, paid Russkie trolls or others with an agenda. -

Why I quit looking at most Yahoo stories.
Since I have been getting my news from Fox I realize why I quit Yahoo. Stories on Yahoo remind me of reading the tabloids at the grocery store. What a waste of time the only reason I wish you would go back to comments is so the crazy left will go back to commenting on Yahoo and stay off of real news at Fox.

When I indicate I do't want to see posts from a media outlet then stop posting them in my feed.

Yes-I am logged in when this happens and the option still shows that I don't want to see them (See Less). I don't want to see any. I can be force fed from other sources like Bing and MSN.

How is it that the "show less of" feature has the first 20 articles on my home page as being articles and companies I don't want to hear from! How about I stick your "show less" up your **!? In normal cases in my own home town, I would have been able to get a restraining order! Why can't I do this with Yahoo!? Oh, that's right you suck the ** of the vendors that pay you big bucks!

Comment Policy Compliance
Comments on Yahoo, and some other sites, have become so toxic, all you read is bullying, name calling and worse. At least aol instituted some real time policing that either asks the poster to modify or review it for compliance to their policies. I see a lot less toxicity on aol now but it is still representative of our polarized and toxic society. Yahoo should have a similar system that can be enhanced as the situation demands. Yelling, name calling and denigration do not further anyone's idea and alienates more than it educates. If you can't get your point across…
