I wouldn't normally rant like this, but how incompetent are you people there? The "show less" button DOES NOT WORK! I can click to see less from a publisher every time I open the site, yet next time, those same articles from those same publishers are all at the top of my feed. You closed the last comments section without fixing the problem and now you're not even responding to comments telling you it STILL DOES NOT WORK.

Please show less news of Mhegan Markle!! There are much more important and interesting news to cover and share in the world. Why give her so much space?

  • Anonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Why do you have to multiple screens to opt out? Then...it still doesn't work.

  • Anonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Why can't you make Opting out easier? You have to go through multiple screens and it still does not work. Are you driving people to other web sites?

Oh, wait, that's right, you really are just nothing more than just propaganda source for far left nut jobs. You don't actually give a **** about honesty, integrity, or truth.

You either close my posts or merge them with already closed posts, but the see less feature does not work. I constantly see the same articles from the same publishers at the top of my feed, regardless of how many times I've marked that publisher to my see less list.

Why? Because yahoo offers options that never take effect; as in "see less of this." Perhaps if yahoo management ate more dog ****, their brains would increase in IQ and what they offered to stop showing us, would actually be stopped.

the feature is a joke ! - show less feature does nothing to stop your biased , useless , inaccurate , + extremely amateur unjournalistic content - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have closed comments again, saying that the "show less" feature is fixed. It is not. I am adding this new thread to point this out. Moving it to the comments of the closed thread is pointless. I DO NOT WANT ALL THE PUBLISHERS ON MY SHOW LESS LIST TO SHOW UP FIRST IN MY FEED.

  • Christopher commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

You have yet again closed the feedback for the "show less" option not working, stating the problem has been fixed. Yet sure enough, the first five links in my feed are from publishers I have on my "show less" list.

FIX THE SHOW LESS OF .... function!!!!! It is showing MORE of what I told it to show LESS of. OMG IT IS BAD! I'm not getting any of the news anymore. Just the **** I told the function to show LESS of. I am so mad. FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT.

It seems like the list of "show less" publishers is fixed to a very small number. When I add a new publisher to the list, it bumps an older one off. I don't want to see anything related to sports--I just don't care for sports new. But there are more sports publishers than will fit on the list. IF there were a way to just hide entire topics, I would be happier. But in the mean time, if you make this list much larger (like 100.. which is not that many really) then I could filter things I don't care about.

Also, if I've hidden NBC sports, why do you think I would want to see NBC Sports Chicago ... I think you can make this feature much much smarter with only a little bit of effort.

Click show less...ya****hoo shows more. You are still managed by brain dead idiots, even after the blond bimbo left.

Perhaps by "not working" they are referring to the sneaky way in which you changed the way you push the publishers to our feed. I can indicate on the line item posts to "see less" of particular publishers. But instead of blocking them from our feed, you simply moved them to banner posts that do not allow us to select "see less of". A very disingenuous way of "fixing" our concern about content push.

Now three months since this thread was started and two months since you've been "investigating this issue" with absolutely no progress made on FIXING THE PROBLEM.

Why is Yahoo allowing only 20 "managing publishers"? After there are 20, then every time I add another, one or more of the publishers get kicked off the list and back into the pool. Why, instead of "showing less of", which basically then leaves it up to someone at Yahoo to determine what less is? Why isn't Yahoo giving the users the criteria for their selections of "less"? Why less? Why not none? Why not let the users determine exactly what they don't want to see (Karshaians, Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Hillary, Bill, all the liberal ****. etc), I still might get Huff Post articles, but at least I would be able to dump a lot of the **** they push and jam down our throats! You know, just like what Yahoo does!

I've been a yahoo user since it started and I'm about to give up because the "show less" feature seems to have the opposite effect and all I ever see is reality TV and celebrity garbage. On the rare instances I click on one of these types of stories it's an accident. I do not search for this **** and it makes me navigate away from Yahoo in frustration. Please allow users to eliminate categories like Celebrities, Reality TV and Social Media darlings. I don't care if they pay to be on your site. We should be allowed to see articles and commercials we are actually interested in. And when I tried to post this as a comment to an already submitted idea the whole site choked...repeatedly

  • Timothy G. Hess commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Why is Yahoo limiting the number of "managing publishers" to 20? And then if the user exceeds that twenty, one or more of the publishers goes back into non-limited pool?!!!! Why isn't Yahoo letting the users decide what they want to see?

  • Anonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

When I click on "see less of" the kardashian *****, i expect to see LESS OF THE KARDASHIAN *****. NOT MORE "stories". You suck. Same with "sports". Elles. Cosmo. Vanity Fair.

How is it I ask for "less" huffpost articles but still receive more than 3 article before I run into ONE fox produced article?? I have seen or "responses" to other like postings....blah..blah..blah....just go to "see less"...blah...blah...blah.... We all know that answer is a bunch of BS! Why is there not more Fox or any other "conservative" news articles on my news feed!! BIASED MUCH!!
