It would be nice if you could scroll through to read an article without the ads moving around and getting in your way, good god
Ad bug, the ads from the right now move over to the left and you can't make them move to see the actual content on the page. Is this a bug? Can you fix it?
Thank you again for reporting this issue, our Engineers have resolved the issue and you should no longer see ads covering article content.
Regards,
Homepage Support

The "floating" ads that move from the right side of a news article to the left side while I'm reading comments is SOOO distracting & disrespectful! It needs to stop...NOW! There are other news sources that I can use, so if Yahoo doesn't think I need to read all of their content, without this distraction, I'll assume Yahoo wants me to move to another site for news articles.

@Product support...I would like to answer your questions regarding this problem.
1. Chrome
2. Both
3.Yes, for the last week it has been happening.
a. All. Hey, Here's an idea. Go open your yahoo webpage and click on a story.Simply scroll down like you are reading the story. I guarantee you will get rubover from the ad pages on the right. Then YOUR Support team will understand what we are inquiring / complaining about. I hope....
b.I click on it.
4.All of the ones on any particular page on the right side of a story jump over to the story and makes it impossible to read. (Please refer to my suggestion and answer in 3.a. above).
5.Just the display ads. So, far.
6. There is no place to add an attachment. Again, refer to my 3.a. above.
Thank you. I hope these answers help. We would all appreciate it. -

any article i read, now, when I scroll approximately 25% down the page, the ads jump from the right to the left...covering the article. Its like you dont want us to read your content as it cover the article, the comments or information. If this is an attempt to get your users to go to a different site, it is extremely effective.
Answers- using chrome.
2. anytime I have clicked into an article
3. a - all articles
b. I click on the article to open it. I do not open it in a new tab
4. every single one of them. the ads change but the placement on top of the content remains.
5. both
6.Please tell me how to provide a screenshot as your comments area doesnt allow for attachments. -

why are you now putting your ads so that they cover the comments by others? we can't read the comments! do you think that the readers are planning a mass exodus from yahoo to google? i know that i am!!!!

Why not post the ads across the bottom of the page and not overwhelm people with the ads. It doesn't make anyone want to buy, but makes them want to go to another page when you can't read the stories. If you are less pushy, you may be more appealing. Try it! And for goodness sake, please stop putting the ads in front of the story.

I have used Yahoo for years, but this is unacceptable and if not fixed soon, I'm gone.

I'm using Chrome. When I click on an article on the home page, after scrolling down to continue reading, the ads from the right hand side of the page jump to the left and block the article so you cannot continue reading it. This is happening with nearly every article, regardless of the source. The ads showing up are the ones appearing in the right hand column, which are various ads.

Just wondering how long it takes you to review a problem? Ads covering the new article! Should be pretty obvious to fix

Try logging in yourself to see what it is doing. It is a pretty simple thing to do

1. What browser are you using when encountering this issue? (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Firefox
2. Does this happen when you are on yahoo.com or after you have clicked into the article?
??? Both, if I understand the question. It's an article I got to from yahoo.com
3. If this happens when opening a news article:
a. Does this happen on all articles or just some? (Please provide links to articles if possible)
It happens on articles with roughly square ads off to the right. I'm guessing the people who make the ads do it on purpose because it moves over about 1 character every time I scroll down and keeps doing so until it covers the content. It forces you to look at their ad.
b. Do you click on the article to open it or are you right clicking to open the article in a new tab?
click on
4. Please list the names of the ads that are covering up content.
Too many, don't have time.
5. Is this happening on video ads or display ads?
Display ads.
6. Please provide a screenshot of the issue
No thank you. -

All of a sudden the advertisements are jumping in front of the text of the articles. You can't read them and it is very irritating. Please fix the problem ASAP.

It happens in Chrome after I open an article. The majority of the ads are the Yahoo automobile ads on the right side of the article, and occur as soon as I scroll down to read the content.

I have this problem using Chrome; also cannot enter comments. However, I've been right-clicking to open the article in a new window and, so far, that has solved the problem.

When I am reading an article and I scroll down a little, the photo and the caption under it to the right of the article goes to the left side of the page, making it hard to read the article I'm on. Sometimes, there is an "X" at the bottom of the photo and when I clicl out of it, it says Yahoo welcomes feedback or something to that effect and Yahoo's message won't go away, either. I also cannot comment. This happens on every article I've been on for the past several days under different categories, but to see what I mean here is an article it did that under: " Drew Barrymore’s Former Home Is On the Market For $9.9 Million"
