  3. Cannot link webull portfolio to yahoo finance

    It always says "experiencing problems right now, try later" -- but I was able to connect to webull once. However, it refused to update my portfolio trades from day to day, so I unlinked and tried to re-link. I get the same error for the past week, after trying daily to re-link. I cannot really use YFinance if I can't consolidate all my trading data from other brokers.

  4. dividends reported with no value

    Looks like mutual funds historical capital gains distributions values are not being populated by yahoo!finance

    For example

    https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/JLPSX/history?period1=1606780800&period2=1609372800&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d&includeAdjustedClose=true

    The Dec 11, 2020 dividend for JLPSX reported by finance.yahoo.com has no value as shown in chart. In reality a $6.82437per share capital gain was distributed. There are other no value dividends reported for JLPSX at least through 2010. 2019-12-12, 2018-12-12, 2017-12-13, 2016-12-14, 2015-12-11...

    I have confirmed the problem exists for other tickers as well. Among the other tickers that also have dividends reported with no value:
    FAGIX : 2020-12-04,2020-06-05,2019-12-02,2019-06-07 ...
    EGFIX: 2020-12-22, 2019-12-19, 2018-12-20 ...
    ITHIX :2020-12-10 ...
    MSEQX 2020-12-11 ...

  5. ajusted close

    It looks like the method that Yahoo Finance uses to calculate Adjusted Close for mutual funds has changed in past few weeks. The calculation used to account for capital distributions and dividends but now only included dividends. This makes Adjust Close for mutual funds fairly useless. The cacluation continues to be correct for ETFs. Is this change for mutual funds permanent?

  7. Comments shall be reinstated..

    Comments shall be reinstated...you correspondents are less entertaining than you may think. Reporting itself is rather dull and comments do make me occasionally check what was in the article in the first place. Comments may be offensive at times but (see the reporting quality comment). If comments will not come back I will have to use google.

  8. Sync with Interactive Brokers account

    I have problem to sync finance.yahoo with my Interactive Brokers account. Few months it was working correctly, but since 26.6. it was not updated anymore.

    Hello!
    I was working with your historic data of Brazilian Stocks and came across a stock with a lot of missing data or the same prices throughout the days. The stock is BCFF11.SA (https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BCFF11.SA/history?p=BCFF11.SA).

    When researching a stock it seems like when there's a lawsuit the law firms spam the news so they are always on top. To me this is not news - more like spam or advertising. Any chance you can remove them or limit them. thank you!

  14. YTD - Year to Date - Shows more than current year?!

    Regardless which investment I click on in my portfolio, the YTD under CHART shows random timeframes, but never actual current year data?
    This has been going on most of 2019.

    PII is giving me 6 yrs on the YTD tab.
    IRBT is giving me more than 3 yrs.
    SJM is giving me same timeframe as IRBT.
    DIS is giving me diff timeframes. I click a month, then YTD, then 6 months, then YTD... each YTD is a different timeframe?!? It changes within seconds?

    Please fix it.

    Custom View Not Showing Up at All (or have to refresh screen). On Feb 8, 2019 there is no customized view (not showing up). And whe it does work in the past, sometimes you have to refresh the screen for it to show up.

    I turn streaming quotes OFF in settings, then when I reload the page streaming quotes reverts to ON.
