    Delete single email button.
    In the new format the delete single email button was moved to the far right. As you are looking at emails the eye is drawn to the left half of screen. That is where the sender info and beginning of subject is. When the delete button was on the left you eye and your cursor is in that area making it easier to click delete in that area. Now that it is on the far right your eye is looking left but to delete you have to navigate to the far right to delete a message.…

    Keep in mind that the Spam and Trash folder empty themselves at random intervals throughout the week. To hold onto emails longer, it’s better to Archive them instead. Archived emails are never deleted unless you do so manually.

    Sometimes when emails reappear after being moved/deleted or suddenly move to the Trash, it’s due to syncing issues between the account and a mail app. If you access the account through a non-Yahoo app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any future syncing issues.

  4. kill the new mail ap

    NIGHTMARE
    New mail suggestion-KILL IT, I tried new mail to no avail so many undesirable traits, I attempted to go back to BASIC, I did however new mail will not go away, now I have 2 screens of mail... xxxxxxxx@yahoo.com

    Hi there,

    You should be able to access any mail you have not deleted, regardless of the date from an active mailbox. To access your oldest mail, click on “Sort” on the top left of the message list and select “oldest to newest”

  6. You changed my email w/o my consent. I hate this format and want the old one back

    Hi there,

    The “Forward” icon is the small arrow pointing to the right at the top of each mail. To forward an email you have received, simply click on the forward icon, enter the address you wish to forward the email to and click send.

  10. Everything is highlighted. Please stop. When I select "move" all options are highlighted and it makes it very hard to read.

    Everything is highlighted. When I select and email or a folder, everything is highlighted. I cannot make it stop. Clicking outside the boundaries doesn't help either. Please stop highlighting everything. It is as if I have clicked and held the mouse over random information that I have not actually selected. (different than the background color that shows when multiple emails are selected). All the highlights are driving me absolutely crazy. Please help - Make it stop.

    An account’s language is determined by where the account is registered. In this case, it can’t be changed. However, if your account was in English but suddenly changed to Chinese, you can let us know on our Community forums:

    Moving from "Basic" mode to "Full Featured" mode is near impossible. Takes a PhD. I can't figure it out.

  16. I have three email accounts for various businesses. Now I have to sign into each one rather than have them display and select. It was so ea

    I have various personal and business emails in Yahoo. It used to be a piece of cake to switch between them. Now it is next to impossible. I have to verify and sign in to each individual email account and it is too time consuming. Ridiculous. Fix it please or return to the devil we already know.

    To add another mailbox to Yahoo please follow the steps:

    1. Click the Settings icon on the right side of the email page
    2. Select More settings
    3. Click Mailboxes on the left side.
    4. Click Add Mailbox.
    5. Enter the email address | click Next.
    In the pop-up window that appears, enter the password for the account you’re adding.
    Follow the steps in the pop-up window.
    6. Click Done.
    7. Click Save.

  17. stop redirecting away from mail and telling me where to vote

    Whenever I try to change email accounts I get directed to a Yahoo page telling me where to vote. I've already voted (thank you) and I just want to read my email. It happens every time today. Way to go Yahoo, keep it up and I'll be forced to abandon you bunch of yahoos.

    Like most of the changes but this one things keeps me going back to classic. The ability to right click and mark as read. Now it is 4 clicks. Maybe make the buttons at top configurable so I could mark unread without going into the...

    Best case bring back the right click.

    In New Mail, you can select an email and use SHIFT+K to mark it as read.

  20. Put ALL incoming emails into one Inbox like before March 5, 2024!

    On Mar.5 all new emails do NOT arrive in my inbox to see them. Yahoo sorts them into ‘boxes' I can't see based on categories that mean NOTHING TO ME. All this DELAYS or PREVENTS my access to important emails because I have to waste time hunting for them in places they should NOT be. This is INEFFICIENT & ridiculous! Yahoo can NOT possibly know how to sort emails in ways that are meaningful to ME! Stop making email harder & worse by "fixing" things that ain't broke! You keep ruining yahoo email with every so-called improvement that decreases efficiency…
