YAHOO NEEDS AN OPTION WHERE YOU CAN CLEAN OUT ALL MESSAGES FROM INBOX TO TRASH.
WE NEED THE OPTION TO WIPE OUT THE ENTIRE INBOX. I HAVE SPAM THAT IS IN MY NEW MAIL AND ITS HARD TO SIFT OUT OLD FROM NEW ITS EXHAUSTING. SO ID RATHER DELETE EVERYTHING FROM MY INBOX AND START FRESH.

It would be a lot more user friendly if the "select all" box would actually select all the emails pulled up. For instance, I have over 5,000 emails from groupon that I have foolishly not deleted, and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom in order for it to select them all to delete. I also have to then go through my trash can and do the same thing because it is now too full. It would be a lot more user friendly if you could set your trash to only hold X amount of emails and delete all the old ones that exceed that limit. It would also be better if I didn't have to spend an hour scrolling through and deleting emails from both my trash and my email to make enough room.

The option you are asking for is in front of you:
At the left side of the Yahoo task bar (with the sort, Archive, Move etc.) there is a small square box with a downward facing arrow along side.
Left click the arrow and a number of options will appear below it, choose "all" and all of the little boxes along side your messages will be checked, select delete from the task bar and presto, your Inbox messages have been moved to the Trash file, or any other file you choose, ie, sent, archive, etc..
Change your mind? just go into delete file, or whichever one you chose and repeat options to move the messages to where ever you wish. -

This is an incredibly dangerous option! You will have customers complaining to because they have lost their inbox records! Perhaps a more beneficial service would be an option to reset the email inbox in the "settings" which takes a special effort to perform so as to prevent an accident which deletes the whole inbox. Furthermore, mail deleted under settings should be kept in your storage system for one month with the option to "restore" deleted materials. Most importantly, there should a prompt next to the delete setting explaining how to restore the inbox materials!
