copy paste from word, excel, etc
Please allow the user to copy/paste from source to yahoo mail and keep the format at the source. When copying from Word that has tab delimited columns the columns are no longer aligned in Yahoo mail. When copying from Excel the user should have the option of keeping the grid boxes. When copying a table from either the size of the table should remain constant not turn into jumbo size.

I agree with everyone else. I should be able to insert a grid or table from Excel or Word and have it look the same as when I copied it. I used to be able to insert my Excel rows/columns information with an inline image and it was great. What happened? I can't get it to work in the old OR new email formats. Also, have had yahoo for YEARS... what gives? Please help us out. Obviously it's possible, because we could do it before. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ASAP!!!!!

copy&paste really doesn't work. I see other mentions here and the response is to blame the user for not doing it right. I copied text, I placed my cursor in the new spot and I pasted. It pasted at the top of my paragraph, instead of the end. I tried this several times. I was not doing something that I had never done before in multiple applications.

Tried copying and pasting from Outlook, no dice. Pasted into Word and then copied and paste into Yahoo, still nothing. Come on Yahoo...

I just copied a Word table into a new message, and it looked perfect.
Pasting from Excel? Not so much. But that's not new.Likewise resizing text pasted from Word. Not new. I'd ordinarily Print as PDF, take a snapshot and paste that in. Just discovered that doesn't work in new mail. At least not yet.

One of the reasons I use Yahoo is for the ability to copy and paste from Word without losing formatting. That no longer works.

In the new mail, I can not draft a document on Word, and then after proofing it, copy and paste the content into my e-mail I am composing. I have to retype the whole document from scratch!! The moment you paste in any manner, Yahoo send your document to Drafts (and if you had typed anything else than the part you are trying to paste, this is only partially or not at all saved) after going to a "Blank Page" and returning to Yahoo. This is absolutely a waste of time. I`ve just spend close to an hour trying to compose one single e-mail that should have taken me only 5 min`s max.

One should be able to copy text from word and insert it into mail and retain the formatting.
