How can we improve New Mail?

Where are the contacts?

Every time I try to access my contacts, the mail system opens a new window and takes me back to the old version of Yahoo. This is very annoying.

Also, something weird has been happening with my mail lists. I haven't changed a thing, but suddenly one of my longer list is missing about 30 addresses. I just tried to send out an email to one of my lists with about 10 people on it. Only 5 people actually received the email, despite me very carefully checking to see that I had clicked on the appropriate email list. Again, very annoying.

Please fix these problems ... or I will very shortly be forced to switch email providers.

    Just adding to the fray! I was a requirements analyst and designer in software development for 25 plus years. Everytime I go into Yahoo I find a major issue that was obviously overlooked. I see what you are attempting to accomplish in bringing yahoo up to date but unfortunately you are missing the mark with overlooking the basic features that made Yahoo an excellent product. So where or where are the contacts? NOT user friendly! I expected that newly developed product would far surpass the old.... too bad this is very disappointing.
    I just found how to search and select mail from specific senders by mistake obviously. Do you have anyone on your development team who is over 30 years of age and who understands what all users need who can develop the appropriate requirements??????????????????

    Where are my contacts? There is no icon or any reference whatsoever to my address book or contacts or whatever Yahoo's nomenclature is for those people I routinely email to / from. I've just wasted 10 minutes searching for some clue as to where they may have gone.
    Please remedy the situation ASAP. There are dozens of people in this comment dialogue in the same boat as me.

    I hate this, too many problems- can't get my contacts. Give us the old one back and quite messing with it.

    I agree it's ridiculous to open a new window under "old" Yahoo, so I can get into contacts. To make it worse, it seems all my wife's contacts have also been added into my list so that I have to scroll through dozens of names that I don't need to see.

    Me too. My contact list has disappeared. Where? why? Im desperate. will try Anonymous' suggestion and will be back here but ditch Yahoo immediately if I cant find it. Ridiculous. Infuriating. All so unnecessary. If it ain't broke....

    Can't find my contacts and neither can use my contact lists.Only a few contacts turn up out of the dozens I need to send to all of them! Rubbish! The old version was way better. How can I get back the old Yahoo?

    What have you done to all my contact? I do believe in new & improved things but not losing all my contacts***** Now what am I supposed to do??????
