checkbox doesn't work

The checkbox in front of each email no longer works. When you click it, nothing happens. This has been happening since yesterday Nov. 8.

    check boxes also go to read the email being checked instead of checking the box, in my case, and also, mail has been a LOT slower in the past three months.

    Interestingly, if I right-click the "Whitelist Yahoo email" or the "$3.49/Month" buttons, each of them shows the menu that starts with Open in a new tab, Open in a new window, etc. Right-clicking the Wider Email "Install for free" button only produces the menu that starts with "Back, Forward (inactive), Reload, Download, Print, etc.

    I would like to accept the offer of making Yahoo my search provider in exchange for the wider email format, but nothing happens when i click on that button.

    Me, too but primarily when trying to delete spam or trash, started a month or so ago. The boxes stay "X"ed but they won't go away so forced to cancel the series of deletes. Will go back days later and attempt again and works, but this is sporadic.

    Try deleting yahoo and re-downloading. I can select 1, 2, or all and delete or move, unlike g-mail on android.

    Mine started doing the same thing on 26 Dec. I now have to go to my phone to check my mail.

    I'm having the exact same problem in Chrome. It's freaking frustrating! Stop jacking with **** that is not broken! Do you not have a group of people like a focus group to try these changes out to make sure they work beforehand and are well received before putting them in effect??? It sure seems like you don't! This keeps up I will not renew my subscription come February and I'm **** sure not going to renew at the doubled rate come 2019 that's for sure!

    This box says describe your idea...my idea is to make something, anything work?! Or, is this a ploy to get me to stop using Yahoo mail altogether?

    I can't click on a lot of things on new yahoo mail. They don't work. I try to click the check boxes for emails they don't work at all. I try to click the drop down menu to click the checkbox for all unread emails, that doesn't work either. Basically, my yahoomail just became useless and non-functional. Please tell me how to go back.

    Your performance is GARBAGE! It's been so bad I decided to get out the stopwatch. I clicked one single checkbox in that rancid Yahoo Mail interface and started the stopwatch. THIRTY FOUR SECONDS LATER, the check finally appeared. I literally cannot do anything whatsoever on any other page IF Yahoo Mail is loading yet another ******* ad! And it is ALWAYS LOADING ******* ADS! I have to force quit this piece of **** over and over just so I perform other tasks like my job. This steaming pile you call a mail program should have NEVER passed an internal beta test.

    just to clarify. I could only click on messages and read them, but they don't get marked as 'read', and I can't reply or do anything with them.

    Yes. this is happening to me as well. It would be nice if the merger had never happened! Sorry IT! but it has been murder since June.

    For some reason, I can't mark emails as read, checkboxes do not work, and I can't delete email. So far the only things that work are the sidebar buttons. What is going on?

    For last few days, on both Chrome and Edge browsers, I can't select messages. The checkboxes don't get checked, and the menu items to delete/move/archive etc don't get enabled. If I try to read a mail, I get an error saying it can't read the mail, but refreshing the page displays the mail.

    I don't know how Yahoo releases these changes without doing basic tests! Please fix this as its making Yahoo inbox unusable.

    Why did you put out a product that doesn't even work YAHOO!?!

    Please explain what is the point of displaying a checkbox beside the emails when you CANT actually select the individual emails without actually going into the emails? I'm completely dumbfounded, is this stuff written by the intern?
