New email format is terrible. Go back to the old. Not to mention I have to get the autofill reacquainted with my frequent contacts again. The font is really baaaaaaaad and hard to read. Should have just left well enough alone.
Also, bring back the feature that allows you to sort emails alphabetically. That was an invaluable tool that you eliminated a while back.
Who is running this operation? Congratulations on the ****** unsatisfactory job.

I didn't have a choice and the old one was great. You've been trying to get me to change over for ages, and this time it didn't give me a choice, it just switched me.

The new format has been a large step Backwards for the following reasons.
1. It is extremely slow responding due to consuming many more resources. I have a High-speed Fiber connection Typically 80-100MB/s yet my input response is like over a modem from decades ago, watching my typed characters appear 5 seconds or more after, and similar delays for "tick boxes" to perform functions.
2. My email address is nearly 20 years old. I need the ability to block entire domains, not just individual addresses. I'd also like to see those addresses and domains. Despite Anti-SPAM software and a large number of filters, SPAM removal from my inbox has been far more time consuming since the changeover.
The new format is NOT AN IMPROVEMENT in any way shape or form. -

If anything should happen to me, I don't want my son to see all the old photos when he has to take care of business. Also I won't use your new emoticons, they look stupid. And when I delete old email addresses "permanently" they come back as suggestions months later and I can't remember which one I'm supposed to use. Just give me back my old format.

My idea is to go back to the old e-mail format, like everyone else wants. Why do you not listen to us?
How do I hate the new e-mail format? Let me count the ways. Oh, sorry I won't live that long! -

Yes there is an uproar about being forced to submit to the new version. The reason I don't like it as I have said before when this happened and has not been fixed is this. There is no page slider. I cannot use but half of my screen for doing emails. Hence lack of productivity. I understand yahoo mail is a money ******. It has been since inception. Putting ads in the margins is such a cheap hack these days. The returns are negligent. Everyone that is forced into this version resents it as I. So not having the option to go back to the classic version really shoots Yahoo in the foot with loss of participation. I would not mind to much to have a small stipend attached to the old version. Just bring it BACK!

Yahoo/Verizon,
I have sent you several messages along with what are now thousands of customers
complaining about your ''New'' and ''Inferior'' email format. I had devised a way to use
your ''older'' format . You took that away a second time this morning. Let us face a
couple of facts. First, your customer complaints cannot cease by themselves.
Second, there is NO way that the staff who created this inferior format is going to
survive at Yahoo/ Verizon notwithstanding what you are being told now. The only
remedy for both YOUR welfare and the welfare of your customers is to listen to
them and return to the superior older format NOW. Somehow you people believe
that your jobs are secure in this mess and that is not the case. The people who
inform others of their job security are almost always the first ones discharged. -

Unfortunately, this was not an upgrade. I can no longer search my email because your search simply fails. I can no longer delete emails directly without several keystrokes, as you removed the delete icon from the email list. My email is getting filtered and key emails I subscribe to are getting messages from Yahoo! that emails are bouncing so they are removing me. Even the Wall Street Journal is filtered and blocked. Your email service has gone to *&^% and I am considering moving to some other service. Why pay for bad service? You really need to at least revise this revision to keep some of the old features and have a system that can actually be searched. Without search I will probably move my email, which has been here for over 20 years.
You blocked my access to my business email and as a result I moved my domain to another domain service. That cost you much more money than I pay for this email account. You have also dropped my alias email accounts and I no longer can find them.

I hate the new email format, I hate the emojis- they look stupid are poor quality, and are childish. I would rather that you went back to old emojis, format, etc. I have had nothing but problems with new email. Are you listening to what your users want, what they like, and their feelings?????

Sending emails to many recipients with new feedback, gives me about an inch in which to view what I am writing . I can't understand why I need a pretty coloured circle next to each of the 22 recipient names.

STOP!
We're too busy and tired to keep looking for our familiar commands every time you decide to move things around.
Please just return to your old, user-friendly format that we could use with our eyes closed.
We really don't care about fancy colors, we hate hunting all over the page for commands that you've moved elsewhere.
The old version, although not beautiful, was easy to use and quite functional.
Please realize that, once we all get used to using commands by rote, we really dislike changes that force us to hunt once again because someone in a back, windowless cubicle had nothing better to do.
And where's my alias email account?
And why am I not able to arrange my contacts by last, first name instead of first, last name?
Come on guys, admit you goofed and just return us back to the layout we all loved.
And judging by the nearly 20,000 comments that seem to indicate that others also dislike change, isn't it about time you listened to us?
Are you really listening??? -

Thank you for ********** Yahoo Mail - Greatly appreciate it... NOT! Please let users decide what is the best format for their email - this new format is HORRIBLE!!!!~!!!!!! Can't say that enough!!!!!!!
Read the comments here - NOT many users are happy with the new format. Not sure what part of that Yahoo management doesn't understand?
Why didn't Yahoo just give a category of "EVERYTHING" is wrong with this new format.
Now I will start using Google Mail - -

HATE, HATE, HATE the new format. I wanted my email to look the way it did before the so called 'upgrade' !!!!!! I thought I had a work around that circumvented your STUPIDITY!!!!! I went away from my computer for a few days and it has suddenly changed on me when I thought I had gotten rid of this idiotic difference in appearance. QUIT CHANGING STUFF AND LET US SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD VIEW!!!!
