Absolutely hate the new format...It's harder on my eyes as I agree with Olga Magoula. I may be
forced to choose another e-mail carrier. It's absurd that we don't have a choice, old or new!!!! -

At least in Classic when my internet connection was acting up, it would hold my composed email in the drafts until it was sent. This new one loses it so I have to retype. That is SUCH a waste of my time and your resources!!!

Amazing, we have been "FORCED" into this new email format, but they didn't change the contact list. If you check on your contacts it is the same format as it was before. Typical of Yahoo, do something half way.

Excellent idea. Yahoo will make alot of people happy if they restore Classic Email. Too many newbies working at Yahoo trying to 'improve' things, thereby creating a demand for their work. They think they have to invent new formats, etc.. But their work is ******* off alot of people who simple like Classic email.

I want CLASSIC EMAIL. I DO NOT like that this new format is FORCED on me!!!!
Don't like the colors and other nonsense. I like the 'business' look of the classic email and not the new effeminate look. Looks like it was designed by women, for women. If women want this design, then let them have it. But its not for me. I'm a MAN Baby!!!!! -

Get RID-OF-IT the NEW YAHOO. Actually start to LISTENING to your client base.
Have you actually used your own service? l cannot believe that YAHOO was once a good email provider, has passed this limited/poor/hardwork new service... What a complete waste of time, money; if l had paid for this - l would ask for a FULL REFUND as this service is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
Has YAHOO sold out to another provider on the quiet, and they have gone this way to close YAHOO down and lose it clients???Please give your clients a choice, and STOP overriding them by taking their choices away; and acting like YAHOO knows best. Sadly you don't. Even in the elections we were given a choice. YAHOO you acting in a selfish / unapproachable / unprofessional manner.
SHAME on YOU

WILL IT NEVER CEASE? THESE CHANGES ARE RUINING MY
EXPERIENCE WITH YAHOO!!PLEASE!!HELP!!
Please -- find someone at Yahoo who understands the needs of a lot of us out here. Simplify, simplify, PLEASE! Basic or Classic obviously served most user's needs. It's OK to provide a site with lots of bells and whistles for users that "need" that kind of site. But many of us
are not professional "techies" and need plain vanilla to be happy. -

No, I will not pat your designers on their tender heads for what they undoubtedly think is a darling and 'creative': their annoying popups which obstruct basic functionality.
A huge text box with a 'cute' circle containing a contact's initials gets in the way of my creativity: composing an e-mail.
May I remind Yahoo that your designers are supposed to make our user experience comfortable and easy--features that make us want to come back and use your product. When 'designs' literally get in the way, you make your product unpalatable and annoying.
So, mutter something like "Form follows function" as you send your designers back to school, and ask a roomful of reasonably astute programmers to make the contact initial, 'helpful' popups and 'videos you might like to watch', as well as the popup ads an OPTION, instead of an obstruction

Thanks for the brush off, Yahoo. Your auto-generated response does nothing 'to improve or upgrade (y)our product." And by snubbing a legitimate complaint about impaired functionality, you've extended no enticement to 'learn about the latest version..."I really don't care if you discontinue older versions, provided your newer versions offer similar functionality and a reasonably usable User Interface. New Yahoo does neither.
