Nice features that set Yahoo apart from others are missing. Features like the ability to create folders on the spot when selecting emails, nice and unique wallpaper, the cute and unique emojis, ability to filter the emails I want and those that I don't. HUGE step backwards!!! Why do you change it? There is NO VALUE in changing something for the sake of changing it. Yahoo mail was working perfectly fine for users. Have you read the input and reviews. WE DON'T LIKE THE UPDATED VERSION!!!

Bring Back the old style mail box format and lay out this was the main reason I chose to use Yahoo, I may now move to another provider, I really hate the lay out and silly middle bar with emails and have no idea who dreamt up the bit on the right as is just a distraction

This new email is just a pain ********** to use. Smileys take ages to load, really useless now with lousy icons, the message screen keeps flicking on and off to blank white and the scroll continually jumps up and down when composing and/or adding a photo. As soon as I start to type a reply, a useless message pops up covering my text to tell me it has generated an automatic recipient ID which I need like a hole in the head, It keeps trying to do other things with my inbox which I don't want or need. When I type an email the onscreen text lags +/- 30 sec. behind what I am typing and I Have to wait to check read each line or two.
You self absorbed jackasses forced this **** on me. Thank you not!!
You people have made a kids toy, not a really functional email.
Idiots, ...all of you who developed this disfunctional junk, ...and none of you will admit Classic email worked just fine and this new mess is all for homeland security etc. to scan our every email. Ypu must have heard enough fro us users so junk it and go back to Classic. -

If I wanted to use Google Mail, I'd use Google Mail; it's free and no ads. But I pay for Yahoo Mail and you forced me to change to this new and NOT IMPROVED format and it all is in the toilet. You keep breaking what isn't broken to give your techs new projects?? No. The old product was fine. The settings were fine. The colors, themes, everything was fine. You broke it; it's now stupid. Thanks for nothing.

On 5/23/2019 after Yahoo took away my email CLASSIC for this new and unimproved new format email my Calendar would not load because of an error. After further investigation found that the Notepad has the same error. What I get is“We're experiencing some technical difficulties...

Temporary error: 500”I clicked on “Try again” and “Visit Help for troubleshooting instructions” and end up each going to the “We're experiencing some technical difficulties...” page again and again and again. What is Yahoo’s definition of Temporary error? Well it’s not a day so is it a week a month a year!
Give me back the CLASSIC email or I’ll send this every day until I find a new email service that fits my needs as this new email format doesn’t or I don’t have internet access.

My biggest problem with the new forma is: with the old format, you could see how many messages you have in your SPAM folder. With the new format, that information is not shown. Stupid. I just went back to look at 6 weeks of SPAM and found a few real messages. Having the number of messages shown in the SPAM folder is a good way to remind your users to look at that folder periodically to make sure real emails don't get put in there!!

New email format makes reading unread mail harder to process. Unread mail is changed to read mail too quickly then it is immediately pushed to the top of the read list.. WHILE I'M STILL READING IT. Classic mail used to leave the email in place then put it at the top of the unread list once I moved to the next unread email. This new format makes getting through my unread mail take twice as long and is so frustrating. Wish the new format was an improvement but instead it's a huge step back.

I have given 2 opinions on how I don't like the new mail format.
Also have written to ask when the format will be switched as I have
made my wishes known and there has been zero response.

So you say you refuse to bring back the previous version that every single user prefers then why not make changes to the new Mail to make it better for us?
Let us open Contacts in a new window like previously, it;s a pain to use the way it is now.
Why can't we see all of the folders in the drop down menu without having to scroll down? That can be fixed easily by you.
Put the contact, calendar, etc back on the left side where it belongs.
Change the bright white background to make it more pleasant
Show that Verizon is better than marissa Mayer and give us a reason to stay and not switch to Gmail, which has improved their layout to the point that it is now superior to yahoo -

Please switch me back to classic yahoo mail, info lost with new version such as email addresses is one of the problems ! Why did yahoo force users to the new version with out giving users the option of which one they want ?
