Ask for feedback in a separate section & reply to suggestions openly so we know why it hasn't been addressed
Yahoo would be more transparent about what the "new" mail includes & then allow users to make their own preferences by clicking which ones they want & which ones they don't want or aren't important to have; then send out a yes-no vote request to whittle down the next proposed improvement to ask what we need to choose from, what we absolutely cannot keep and WHY not & what your suggestions and other-or our suggestions to vote on.
Companies and concepts that have died didn't ask their users, clients o customers & didn't wait for feedback, ie: Sears. Instead they thought paying a new CEO big bucks was going to change the outcome. Meanwhile they just pulled out the same ole stuff they couldn't sell years ago & kept peddling that...so in other words-keep asking the public what is important to their needs, then specify the "non-negotiables", keeping those within technical parameter requirements, if this helps & you understand what I mean..
