How can we improve New Mail?

i thought when i deleted something it was deleted....this new things shows things from 2012 that i deleted not happy at all

when i delete a post or picture ......DELETE IT THINGS are showing up i deleted back in 2012 or earlier......i dont like the new email setup at all
