How can we improve New Mail?

account key nightmare!

Here's my idea, stick till the end it's revolutionary...
how about letting me log into my email with my username and password??????
Why in the world do I need an account key which - by the way - never works and then I have to request for a text message to be sent to me??? This is the most frustrating feature ever created by Yahoo!!!!!!
REMOVE IT!

    THIS IS SO STUPID, I HATE WHEN EVERY-TIME THE STUPID LOGIN SCREEN ASK ME TO SELECT THE STUPID ACCOUNT KEY EVERY TIME I NEED TO LOG IN. CHANGE IT TO HOW IT WAS BACK THEN. IF NOT YAHOO WILL END UP THE SAME FATE AS AOL. NO LONGER EXISTING AND NO ONE USES IT OR CARE FOR IT ANYMORE.

    I would like to speak to a tech person need help to recover wife's original Yahoo account I have tried to follow the advice and instructions you have on the help zone but haven't managed to get over disabling the "Account Key" appointed to the account. we have set up a new account but its proving as an obstacle to her business because of historic contacts with customers can you assist in trying to re-open her original account please

    Unable to access my old account which I am using from more than 18 years. I just formatted mobile with YahooMail app and now every where yahoo mail is asking for the KEY which was not used before. The Alternative email ID was misspelled (There should be confirmation link sent to activate the alternative email ID to recover the password), due to this I am now totally helpless. Without Yahoo Email ID you even cannot ask for any Yahoo help, so now I created another yahoo ID to find any possibility to recover it through accessing the Yahoo Help center... but till now there is no hope :-(

    Keep it simple using email, all these apps conneting to email from cell phone is confusing and not everyone enjoys sitting on a computer all day trying to figure things out. I've been trying to change my password for over an hour and can't find the option to do so. KEEP It simple!!!!!

    Please stop marrying my phone to the account. I changed my phone and the yahoo key insist to consider my old phone. This is very painful.

    Does anyone else find it to be a huge hassle logging in from an laptop and an android? If I disable the account key on my phone, and try to do it on my computer, I'm forced to enter a 8 digit random code!!

    I appreciate the security but for petes sake! EVery time!!! Just let me type in my password!!!! ALso the new theme/s suck. Its too bright. I liked the matrix looking one cuz its easy on my eyes.

    yahoo became lazy. you need to work fast. Not sending verification links/keys/otp on time. struggling to login.

    I am paying for the no add mail why can't I have a password and user name to ready my mail. I do not I do not need it to read mail on my phone which is a lot less secure then my PC in my home office

    Why can I not sign in to Mail using Password. Everytime I want to log on, I have to put in Yahoo Account Key, that is texted to me.

    Oh... and this is rich. I did receive some gobbldy goop in a help menu that was 6 pages long and would take as many months to go through the steps. AS IF!!!!!! I'm going to spend 6 months unraveling all of the goop in that help page only to find out that IT DOESN'T WORK EITHER!!!!! Am I on Seinfeld or something????????

    I recently changed phones. My old phoned drowned in a cup of Pepsi and DOES NOT WORK!! I can not get Yahoo to send a key to my new phone. It keeps sending it to my old phone or this email addy alternate address or that email alternate address.... and so on and so on and so on BUT ON... ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! To my NEW F&#%ing PHONE!!!
