Time zone Warning
Delete this setting. It appears more than just me are annoyed with this. It is still amazing that this is an issue when the mobile phones figured this out well over a decade ago. Strange how a progressive company as Yahoo cant seem to figure this one out.

I get a notification that my time zone doesn't match with computer and then am only given the option of choosing Fiji as my nearest city. I live in New Zealand ?

Fine - the time zone discrepancy has been called to my attetion.
Now - how do I fix it ?!?!!
There is no city listing in the drop-down box that corresponds to US Pacific time... they are all Europe, Asia, Africa. What gives with this? This chould change automaticlly for "local t ime" or offer a selection option (such as "temporary") when location makes a time zone difference.

Either get rid of the time zone warning or fix it. It detects that I have moved time zone but I am unable to select the current time zone.

Yahoo won't let me change the time zone, thinks Oregon is in Central Time Zone. How smart is that?

Just don't understand why when I send or receive mail it is two hours ahead. It shouldn't be that hard to fix or find out how to fix it:(

Please ... please ... either get rid of the time zone notification or change it to reflect our locations ... I sick and tired of see this notification every time I got to get my email ... I am on
East coast time and nothing in the city drop down reflects that time zone ... so I put in my home town ... NO CHANGE ... LISTEN TO US ! ! ! ! -

I had my calendar showing "Year/Month/Day" and it put me in Pacific Time zone until I set the Calendar to the standard "<month/Day/Year"

I agree. I do not want to see my time zone. I have a watch already. I know the time zones which I need. Email is for reading emails not setting time zone.

pop ups like this should be muted after they've been seen, as per UI/UX convention and standard of service for years. Why is this still an issue with Yahoo Mail?
-
Carl LaCascia commented
I can't believe this is STILL an issue and not already changed. What are you waiting for YaPoo programmers.... you obviously can fix it.... can't you?

Besides the time zone "problem", yahoo and comcast need to get your servers fixed as I have heard that yahoo is/was not sending e-mail to the comcast domain because comcast was blocking them in a "554 error message" in March 2018.
