Yahoo mail is so slow
Yahoo mail is so so so slow on my computer. I've been using my college email address instead (gmail) because it works so much better. However, now that I am about to graduate I have been using my yahoo email more - but it's just so frustrating how glitchy and slow it is. I really do not want to have to get an entire new email address (I would definitely use gmail if I made a new one) but if this isn't fixed soon I'm not going to have a choice.

Please try clearing cookies, cache, history, and footprints. To do so, please go to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln27197.html
Also, please make sure to update your browser and if the problem still persists try to access Yahoo Mail in another browser.

the new version of yahoo mail is junk that should be deleted immediately. It is incredibly slow and unresponsive to use, even on high spec equipment with fast internet connections. It is not in any way user friendly and the constant nagging pop ups that some 'genius' at yahoo decided would be a good idea, are enough to drive even the mildest mannered of us to acts of technological autodestruction!
why did you do it yahoo? it used to work fine, and now you've gone and broken it..........or did you simply not bother to actually test your latest *** before forcing it upon the poor unsuspecting user base?
Somehow, I don't think you even give a (Chose your own expletive) what we think though........

S-l-o-w performance
I've been using Yahoo Mail for a longtime. The performance has worsened. I use other email websites and the performance is so much better and especially faster. Speed it up please! -

New Mail is so slow it seems to be using dial up connection. You have closed the idea in "vote for an idea" but the problem still exists. Please fix this, or let us go back to classic mail, which actually worked. I have used Yahoo mail for almost 20 years, to be treated this way is terrible.

* Both spam & trash no longer tell me if there are any emails in it.
* An email from my calendar and from myself both say "me" in my inbox.
* The new email is slower than the Classic.
* You've messed Classic up so much, that people can't back now.
* The themes are nasty looking.
* The search field at the top of the email doesn't work as easily.
But, you probably won't lose but about 5% of your business. I guess that's tolerable. Right? And we're just your customers. No worries about keeping us happy. Right? -

STOP forcing me to use the basic version for an 'unsupported' browser
I've been bypassing the block fine until late-mid June 2019, but now UNLESS I use an user agent to go from chrome 51 to 67 or something it won't let me use the 'advanced' mail which WORKS PERFECTLY FINE with my browser.
The basic version works horribly and outlook works fine too, so why can't yahoo work when outlook is fine with my browser.

new version of yahoo mail is definitely not an upgrade, it's very big step backwards in user friendliness and ease of use. Layout is less logical than before, menus are little better than useless to navigate through to attempt to find any meaningful settings that can be changed to do something about the awful appearence of this enforced makeover. Lots of irritating pop ups to try to entice you to tinker in the most inane and superficial way with the pastel abomination that is the user interface while making it as difficult as possible to actually do anything meaningful! every aspect of the new version looks like it was designed to appeal to pre-school children and deter adults. And to cap it off it's also very slow and unresponsive. Makes me wonder if yahoo are trying to deter us from using the mail service and get us all to switch to their competitors so they can shut it down?
For heavens sake yahoo SORT YOURSELVES OUT!!!!!! -

I have been forced to change to another style of Yahoo.
This is not so bad - BUT the speed of the service has dropped significantly.
I know I "could" buy a new wizzy computer, but this one works fine, so I do not wish to "fix"it :-)
I believe the speed loss is due to overloading by wizzy new adverts that believe everyone has a wizzy new computer like they can afford....May I suggest that adverts are minimised by removing the use of movement, removing extra redundant images - Text only is best, reducing the definition, and reducing the number of colours significantly - 2 colour is best (Text and Paper).
Or, at least, make this an Optiion, please ? :-)
Regards, Edward

Your new format of Yahoo Mail is terrible. Harder to read, harder to navigate. And now, whenever I open and email from a business/store/restaurant/website/news source, I get all sorts of ads from said business at the top of my mail . This slows down the page and means I must scroll lower down to read my message. These ads make it harder to read my mail. Bring back the old format of mail, the version BEFORE Classic Mail. This new format is definitely not an improvement for the Yahoo user.

Is there any chance that the speed, for the new email, is going to be up to par anytime soon?

The "new" mail is extremely unstable. Since being forced against my wishes to "upgrade", I am receiving constant "Page Unresponsive" error messages. Can you please fix this?

Do you have a customer service center? I cannot find any way to contact Yahoo about issues I am having. Are you an email service?
