I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

Multiple and IMPORTANT emails are landing in SPAM folder. Once we add an email to contacts or use a trusted contact option, these emails should not go to the SPAM folder.

For about two weeks, my work-related e-mails from well-known accounts sending me mail for ages tend to end up in Spam, and sometimes I miss new assignments, because I forget to check the Spam folder 5 times a day. Now I set up a bunch of filters for these accounts, but as I see other users' comments, it probably won't help.

When I send someone and email, their reply should not be sent to the Spam folder.

About 2 weeks ago, Yahoo decided to start routing a large portion of my regular messages into the "Spam" folder.
At least one of the companies that I regularly communicate with (for work) has been all but blacklisted, and most e-mails from their domain are immediately routed into spam.
I have tried to use the "Not spam" function to solve this problem -- I've probably used it several dozen times by now.
But this is not teaching Yahoo any sort of lesson: new messages (even in *existing* e-mail chains that I'm actively participating in) keep getting sent into the spam folder, over and over again.
I even created a filtering rule whereby all e-mails from the domain in question should be routed into a dedicated folder. But Yahoo just bypasses this rule and continues dumping them into spam.
PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM, NOW!!!!!

Yahoo moved this idea into another one, "Accidentally marked email as spam", when this ideas is in-fact a much different problem.
I never mark any emails I received from my contacts as Spam, yet this problem persists. This includes long-time contacts that I have frequent exchanges with being sent to Spam.
Even marking an email as NOT Spam still results in the next 5 emails from that contact being sent to the Spam folder anyway, despite repeated attempts to tell Yahoo that it is not, in fact, Spam.
Adding the senders as a contact does not help either, or if it does help it is only temporary. I have found that I have to add a contacts email address in several times before it remembers that the email is not actually spam. This solution only works for maybe a day before it decides to send it to spam again.
Please resolve this issue. Am an now monitoring my Spam folder as if it was my inbox.

Based on comments this is an on-going and long standing problem. My own problem is over a month old. Yahoo needs to address this immediately. I really hope someone monitors these comments and gets their rear end in motion to solve the problem.

Recently I discovered that Yahoo has shunted to my Spam folder, multiple emails that originate from people with whom I have corresponded for several years. In some cases, these are business transactions, and missing them caused an untold number of problems. I do not understand what you have done to the email accounts but so far it is NOT successful. Please bring back the old Yahoo mail, which was not broken and didn't need fixing. And please make the email alphabetize the list of recipients - instead of listing them in the order they were added to my email account. I would really like a response to this.

One of my most important working contact has started to be sent into the spam folder. I've selected no spam several time but they keep being sent into the spam folder. I've tried using filters but they keep being sent into the spam folder. Is there any fix?

As of maybe two or three weeks ago I have been having a LOT of issues with emails being sent to Spam that have no reason to be sent there.
This includes long-time contacts that I have frequent exchanges with being sent to Spam.

I have recently found emails from people in my contact list going to my Spam folder. I don't check my Spam folder several times a day, so this means I am missing business offers. Please fix this.
