Turn off automatic downloading of embedded images
By default, turn off automatic downloading of images in emails. Everyone knows this is the largest tracking mechanism in emails and puts the user at risk of being spammed. This keeps getting re-enabled and it is a huge security flaw.

I agree. This should be the default, but after I was switched over to this new (terrible) browser version of Yahoo mail recently, all the sudden all the images started showing in all emails and this is a direct violation of my right to privacy. Why did you automatically enable them without my permission? Is someone paying Yahoo for this? There needs to be extremely stiff penalties (including jail time) for tech companies collecting and selling people's information without their consent.
