COPYING CONTENT FROM EXCEL
Please allow the user to copy/paste from source to yahoo mail and keep the format at the source. When copying from Word that has tab delimited columns the columns are no longer aligned in Yahoo mail. When copying from Excel the user should have the option of keeping the grid boxes.

It's shocking to see that Yahoo doesn't have facility like Gmail to Copy + Paste Excel data as it is. When I Copy+Paste excel data to Gmail, It looks exactly as per excel borders & tables while in Yahoo, data losses table & borders. I think I should return to Gmail for such inconvenience.

Hi,
When writing emails (rich-text / modern format), for some reasons some of the lines have 'Spacing after' applied. As user cannot itself adjust spacting, it would be better if it is set as 0pt by default. Receiver email may not support such formatting and if i prepare email with multiple paragraphs and rely on 'spacing after' rather than two line breaks, then receiver might receive a quite ugly email where all paragraphs are sticked together. Alos, when I add 2xEnter meaning 2 line breaks, then Yahoo mail automaticlaly applies spacing and what the receiver sees at the end, is huge gaps between paragraphs. This is nonsense. Could you please improve the formatting and even better if you give composer more conrtols over formatting. -

I HATE that anything I paste into e-mails I'm composing now pastes with double spacing. Why can't there be a simple option to determine the spacing I want as author of an e-mail?
Please do something about this. It's VERY annoying. -

Composing mail, I copy a list from excel to mail text area, but no line surrounded for the list, make the list is naked and confused.

Why is Line Spacing unstable. Seems to create triple line at end paragraph when I only made double.
And when I get a reply to my email, there are great gaps between paragraphs - and certainly looks UNPROFESSIONAL.
Where to I get control of layout, please -

The new mail is a horrible mess. There are so many things you cannot do with it that you could before. The search is unreliable, you can't cut and paste from other emails are reformat going from rich text to plain text to rich text. The format is cluttered and the use of space is wasted. The colors are atrochious. The fonts are too small and they do not line up properly. The trash can needs to be put back where it was, flagging needs to be on the tool bar not doubled in the scroll areas. So many many things it is slow, the use of ads is intrusive and the headers about deals and advertising shop runner are misuse of space and do not apply to the email that is being shown. It is an awful awful frustrating anger provoking email client. To make matters worse you killed the basic mail with the same idiotic changes. I pay for this service I use it for my business. I want the old email back, it was clean and professional and logical. This one is a major disappointment and should not have been rolled out.

No one likes change, including me but I can be encouraged if it is a better product. This new format has taken your product backwards.
The biggest problem I would like fixed is the vertical spacing issue. If you copy and paste a word document into Yahoo! Mail the recipient receives the document with altered line spacing. If you attempt to correct it before you send the email, you are not able to do it - it really is a mess.
Fix this issue and I MIGHT be able to live the the new email format. This was an issue with Yahoo! Mail 15+ years ago and you fixed it, why have you reverted to an annoying old-fashioned feature?

New emails are automatically double spaced when copying in from Microsoft Word. I don't want to lose all my special formatting (tabs, etc.). This is very time consuming to fix on every lengthy email I create. The old version did not do this.
