How can we improve New Mail?

Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    Go back to the old contacts, this new one is terrible. Can't always add people to established lists. I set up a new list and when I want to send an email, I click on the "TO" line in compose format to look for the list and it isn't there. I delete a list and it still shows up when I go to compose. Makes me want to go to Gmail.

    How do I edit a single contact? It used to be so easy, but now it's impossible! And I pay for this service? Ridiculous!

    Your new contact format is difficult to negotiate. I cannot delete contacts that request to be off my data base.

    I can add folks to list, but cannot even find the list to removed my cousin who died!!!!

    In Contacts, the edit button /option is now missing. When I go to the gears, it is just option for changing colors. please add back the Edit option.

    I can no longer add a new contact to a specific contact list. Old forum was so much easier to work with.

    I'm thinking about changing to google email, if I have to. I need to be able to add contacts to existing lists & it's not working. The contacts have been a problem for too long now.

    I am ready to change my email server over the fact that I cannot edit my email lists and the immense difficulty even adding new contacts. This is honestly one of bare bones basic features necessary for an email server. This is embarrassing and needs to be fixed, or many long time yahoo users like myself will leave your server over this ONE issue.

    I can not get the contacts at all with out switching to old, adding them and then switching to the new again. The contacts button does nothing in the new.

    EMBARASSMENT - My ability to add and edit different contact lists is critical to my use of email to distribute messages efficiently and effectively on a variety of issues I'm working on and trying to advance forward. The fact that Yahoo can't get it's contacts function working properly is inexcusable and ridiculous. How can a big information technology company be so incompetent and yet continue to thrive or exist.

    Your new format is not user friendly at all. Why change when the old format worked so well. Obviously from all the comments I have seen, it appears no one is happy with the new format. I could not access my friends list when forwarding an email. That is just one example of the poor format. Please go back to the former format.

    Years ago contacts worked fine. Now it doesn't presumably because the software in new versions has not been properly debugged.

    There is no longer updating between the edited contacts lists and those contacts lists accessible via Compose when you click on To, CC, BCC to enter contacts from the list.

    Such incompetence is driving me increasingly to switch to other email providers because Yahoo mail contacts can't be updated.

    Yahoo has simply not tested its own software before releasing. Unforgivable and it will lose you business. People will leave Yahoo mail if you don't sort it out.

    No-one can be recommending Yahoo mail these days because contacts is so full of bugs.

    Sept 2019: Emailing to "All" of contacts fails to do this, leaving several contacts off. Only by exporting Contacts as CSV, and using that list, can I email to our entire newsletter subscriber list. Please fix!

    How long do Yahoo Mail users have to wait before you restore a workable Contacts list. Can't edit ANY contacts except to delete! And get rid of the annoying ads!
    I agree with all of the previous complaints regarding the problems with Contacts.

    Am unable to add a new contact to an existing list. Cannot scroll easily through the existing contacts, as box is small, and after a few contacts, the balance in that letter is grouped. If there was a recent change, we now have much less functionality with the contacts. Maybe some software was not included in an update???
