Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

In contacts it seems that your service at times does not allow me to edit my contacts. I even tried in classic mode it does not let me add notes. As a example can not add notes nor what category to place my contact in.. Yahoo seems to offer things and then just remove things without notifications. Please fix the ability to edit and to have categories for each contact. Bring it back and Please fix ability to edit!

Another reason to totally hate this new mail - Classic Mail was much better than this new mail and also better than the basic mail, especially for the contacts, I either have some contacts missing or four of the same person in my contact list. WHEN I DELETE ONE OF THE FOUR SAME CONTACTS --- ALL FOUR GET DELETED!!!

The contacts list when you click To: is not synced with the actual contact list that you manage within the actual contacts. Emails/contacts who have been deleted or have revised email addresses are not available to select when clicking To: to add someone to your email.

put the print contacts list back into Yahoo - regular document, NOT Excel you have to export

Why doesn't any change or addition take????????? I don't want to have to have a paper coy of all email addresses in order to send an email to someone who was not on my list when you made me change to this system!!!

so select all feature - defeats the purpose of putting lists together if we still have to select each person in the list instead of being abale to select all.

I am having difficulty finding my contacts, altering them, and adding new ones. Can you please go back to the (working) interface that you used to have--the current version is so awful that I may also go (kicking and screaming) to gmail.
Thank you for your consideration. -

The feature to stop adding email addresses automatically is gone. This sucks, looks like I agree, time to go to Gmail.

Your new setup/upgrades it's a total disasters. You need to get rid of the Idiots who put this together. No joke, is totally frustrating. I've been with Yahoo for over 20 years, and I am seriously thinking to get the **** out of here. Before you updated, I had all my contacts separated into different folders. After your "brilliant" update, all my contacts were put back into the main folder. All those years of keeping them organized, down the drain.
My main email is *******@yahoo.com; other sub-accounts are *****@*******.com and *****@************.com
I used to be able to log into ****** from where I could switch to my other email addresses. now I have to log in with different passwords for each email, stupid and frustrating.
Major issue. I have to reset my password for ****** every other week or so, because password does not work any more. I write the new password down, it works for a few log ins, then stops working. What kind of *** is that. I just had to reset a new password, and in a few days will not work again. Unacceptable!
I'm not going to excuse my language because dealing with your new, faulty changes is extremely frustrating and senseless. I've read through some of the other's complains and they all hate it. Can't believe you are so dumb, and not listen.
I'm already looking at Gmail and others. I was relunctant to move because my emails are tied to my businesses and are well known for years. But it is not worth dealing with this incompetence of new email setup you created.
I hope you will at least answer back. As a business man myself, I am very curious to know what is the point behind this stupidity. You had a very good working email setup. Then you changed it and created this mess????????? -

My new idea is to switch to gmail. I can't believe I had to spend time figuring out how to deal with what you did to the contact list - and am unable to alphabetize by last name or to edit or delete a contact. And why would you have to ask if I want to see all my contacts that for example begin with a particular letter. Next time ask for feedback before you mess it up not after. And why do I need a title - you make everything harder and harder. Count me a former yahoo mail person.

What is going on with Contacts? I see contacts from both my Yahoo mailboxes concatenated into 1 list (which I hate since 1 mailbox is just for fantasy sports), and for some reason Yahoo has my phones contacts in it as well. I don't even know how that happened, but I hate it. How do I undo it? Is there a way to decouple the mailboxes and decouple my Yahoo mail from my phone contacts?

My work around the software is to edit my contacts in the itsy, bitsy box provided in the lower right corner. Then I EXPORT the list to proofread the contact.

I as other can't open our Contacts. This problem prevents me and others fro adding to or changing a contact or groups. It just amazing how this problem isn't be addressed now and not later. Yahoo has enough complaints stating the problem this problem shouldn't be delayed. It's easy to replicate just my clicking on the Contacts icon. Come on Yahoo get it fixed.

Please change contact list to be sorted alphabetically by either last name or first name and do the same for the lists. Right now the contact list appears in the order they are added which is useless. Also in the old contact list it gave you a count of the number of contacts in total plus the number on each list. This was very helpful to manage the contact list. Also being able to print the contact list would be very helpful as well. Thank you
