How can we improve New Mail?

Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    I most certainly do not like the new format. If Yahoo really wanted to improve, they should give people options not force us to do it. I am tired of these so-called "new and improved" formats. They are just decreasing our ability to do what we like to do. It wasn't broke so don't fix it. May have to switch to another form of email. I need to be able to delete contacts and it looks like that is not possible. Please go back to the other way.

    New contact list is awful. Hard to navigate, no way to delete more than one contact at a time, and somehow contacts were imported from other accounts that I did not want in my contact list. It's going to take forever to clean it up now in the new format.

    Latest change to Contacts has stopped working. A few days ago Contacts would open in a new tab & function. Then Contacts opened in a windoid beside the mail window. Inconvenient, but it seemed to work. Today, the windoid contains only greyed-out blobs. I cannot search for & display details of any contact. This is in need of an urgent fix. Please!

    LOOKS LIKE YOU DON'T LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENTS - MAY HAVE TO CHANGE TO BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I WANT IN THE CONTACT LISTING

    Can't add anyone to any of the lists I have created. Can't make a copy of my e-mail list so if I crash I would have them to recreate a new e-mail listing. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD CONTACTS LISTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    There doesn't seem to be any way to add a contact to an existing list. You used to be able to add a contact to a list when creating it - there was an option to do that. Now when you go to Lists, select add a contact and it the contact doesn't even show up! What's up, guys? You know change isn't always for the best. You make an easy task impossible.

    I came here to complain about this. I was forced to "upgrade" to the new version and contacts are just a mess. I had groups that I can no longer edit. I can barely edit contacts. It's not importing to my iPhone correctly. It's just an embarrassing mess of a system. Yahoo should be so ashamed of this programming.

    I have been on this new Yahoo mail for a good time now and I have to agree with many others that the older version of Yahoo mail was far better. it was more user friendly and much more sensible about how things were laid out. I would also like to go back too.

    Yeah why can't I edit an existing contact, like if they change their email? I can only delete and add?? Ridiculous! This shouldn't be this hard.

    HATE - HATE HOW TO EDIT CONTACTS!!! NEED TO BE ABLE TO VIEW ON FULL SCREEN! WHY MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT - WANT TO RUN MORE PEOPLE AWAY FROM YAHOO!!!

    Redo contact section to have the full page option, so we can easily create lists, edit, find, etc. The new way has eliminated so many things I need to do. It doesn't work the way you say it does. I can't do lists anymore.

    Make it more simple. I don't have the edit a contact button. Unable to locate. Only Add a Contact available. This is ridiculous.

    Put all the Contacts functions back the way they were!!
    I need the lists I created to be in ALPHABETICAL ORDER and I need to PRINT them out!!!
    Also need to be able to see which lists a Contact is on and be able to add them to a list easily.
    Just put things back the way they were!!

    Until today clicking on the Contacts icon would open a new browser tab where I could easily operate on Contacts. Now I get a narrow windoid in the current tab where I may or may not be able to perform necessary functions. Please restore Contacts to a new tab, just as Calendar remains in a new tab.

    How hard is it to connect the lists and contacts? This doesn't seem to be a problem for other email carriers. UGH!
