How can we improve New Mail?

Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    I cannot even create a new contact FROM AN INCOMING EMAIL!!! That's like an MVP feature!

    How else will I ensure that incoming emails don't get listed as spam from addresses I WANT to allow through?

    Switch our contact list back to the former way where I could find groups and also edit emails.

    I am so glad that I am not the only person spending way too much time trying to figure out this new contacts on yahoo. I despise it. It wasn't broke in the first place - if it ain't broke - don't fix. Is this going to be fixed? The new Yahoo contacts is just absolutely un-user friendly and just plain horrible. I'm so disappointed in Yahoo.

    I hate the new contacts. I am trying to add new contacts to a group and can't see them after I though I added them. Then, I'm trying to send an e-mail to a group and I don't think all the contacts are listed. Please go back to the old format....it was easy to navigate, add/delete contacts from a group and send e-mails to a group. Why did you change it in the first place? It really sucks. I have had yahoo mail since 2000 and I am considering changing due to this horrible situation you have put me into with the contacts.

    I received an update of my email format a couple days ago. I am having trouble moving contacts from one group to another without deleting the original contact and loosing all information. The last version would allow you to click on the contact and remove it from the group, that was a good idea and more user friendly.

    Why is my contacts list all the way to the right of the page?? I can't see all my options for putting in contact info. Please put it back!!!!!

    Go back to what you had in earlier versions. If you are trying to look like gmail, you and failing.

    Contacts: why did you arbitrarily change the Contact List? I can not edit current contacts. I can not edit my email lists. Please let me return to the old Contact format.

    Trying to edit contacts or adding to lists, or even finding lists is, not to say the least, idiotic. Please go back to the 'old' format, which was easier. If you are going to change the format, please precede with instructions. UGH

    Before the upgraded Yahoo, the previous version of "contacts" was user friendly...you were able to put information in the notes section. The information in the notes section in the previous version did not transfer over to the new version of "contacts" and now that information is lost. How can we retrieve that info, and i'm concerned about where all that information went!

    I updated a list in my contact groups, and when I send out a group mail by clicking the "To" or "BCC", it only leading to the old contact list. it's frustrating to spend much extra time to find out how to use the newest version and find out it doesn't not work out right.

    Please help! I am unable to search my contacts by items that I have saved in the notes section.. Without that my contacts list is useless

    I have never been so irritated with yahoo mail but I am about to delete it and create a new email account. Creating contacts and contact list, modifying and adding members should not be this complicated. I have created a new contact, but I can't add them to my contact list. I can't copy an email address and paste it in a list. Please fix ASAP.

    yes, go back to old address lists, this new one makes harder to edit, see groups etc.
