Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    Unmitigated disaster! Completely unmanageable and frustrating, and basically a downright mess. I can't see why the last version needed to be 'improved'. It actually worked.

    Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete is impossible to use. Yahoo took a system that worked and lobotomized it. Why don't you take someone off the street and see if they can use the new system from **** ! ! !

    I am so frustrated with Yahoo Mail!!! I am the Secretary of our family association and now I cannot edit my contact information on my family members! Some addresses are old because they have moved, and I have found no way to correct/update any of their information as I used to the old way.
    Even going back to the original yahoo email does no good because there is no difference. Why did you have to ruin everything???? You've just made everything more difficult and useless!!! I also have them assigned to lists and can no longer retrieve any of that information. Get it fixed FAST!!! I cannot pull up a mailing list to print and now have to do it by hand for over 75 people!

    I just noticed that I have hundreds and hundreds of contacts b/c Y! Mail is auto adding all the spam addresses as contacts. I would never have enabled this. So I went in to try and uncheck this setting, but it is nowhere to be found. No easy way to delete all these contacts either. It's a two-step process x 1000!

    Please give us an easy way to delete contacts (at least a swipe left) and a way to delete them all at once.

    Your change to "Contacts" is awful. I used to be able to assign a contact to a list, but I can no longer do that and it's vital to my task. I'm forced to look for a simple database program that can manage my club contacts.

    What have you done to contacts??? They are a complete MESS. They were fine so why'd you change them? Contact groups need to be back in alpha order by last name, contacts should readily show which groups they are in, if any, no duplicates in group listings.

    Make all Lists accessible for sending group emails.

    I agree. The contact list is now difficult to view and edit. Go back to the previous version. This is now unusable and unacceptable.

    How to return to inbox from contact lists in New Yahoo Mail
    Click: Open the contact
    Click: Settings
    Click: More Settings
    Click: “RETURN TO INBOX” oh on the left side of the screen
    Surely you brains can put a simpler way to close the CONTACT List?

    Your help says you can edit by clicking on the 3 dots and edit is supposed to show up. It doesn't I get import and export only. I spent 2 hrs yesterday with you alleged support and got nowhere.

    Hard to read and scroll the contacts in the extremely narrow window used to display them
    This was reported by another Yahoo unhappy customer. I may change provider based on the inability to use the very narrow column with Contacts information. Virtually useless.

    Give back the old contacts menu. This one is too small, and has no decent functionality.

    Every time you go back to the old contacts list everything works,and every time you TRY to fix things nothing works right, Doesn't that tell you something?

    Just tried to edit a list and not alphabatized, couldn't delete from list - terrible.

    Editing/adding/deleting contacts is such a basic function to the usability of email. Who at Yahoo thought it was unnecessary? Does that person not know how to use email? But, yeah, let me be able to pick from a bunch of useless themes and backgrounds. Who runs this bunch of "yahoo" staff?

    Difficult?!? How about IMPOSSIBLE? All yahoo needs to do is let a working app keep working. USING THE CUSTOMER BASE AS AN UNWITTING ALPHA TEST BED VIOLATES OUR SERVICE CONTRACT, WHICH IS COSTING MORE, DELIVERING LESS AND - AGAIN - FAILING TO SERVE CUSTOMERS AS PROMISED.

    Yahoo, you need us more than we need you.
