   There is an HDFC ERGO advertisement and that remains unread throughout, though I read it. Its right at the top of the mailbox and there's no option to delete it either. Please see if you can help.

2. Show actual ADDRESSES of senders; don't assume display names are honest and reliable. Offer a setting to OPT IN to showing names only.

   For the “From:” display, showing only the sender’s display name (“J Doe”) is an open invitation for spammers and scammers. Anyone can make up any display name, and pretend to be from a trusted company or agency, or from a friend or acquaintance. And even in honest communication, people often have multiple emails, such as work/school and personal ones, and it’s nice to be able to tell at a glance (without needing to click/tap “See More”) whether “J Doe” is J Doe jdoe@company.example.com, J Doe janedoe@example.yahoo.com, or J Doe <scammer@example.g***l.com>.

   Similarly, it’s good to be able to see recipients’ addresses.

   Yahoo Mail users should be able to OPT IN to abbreviated addresses (names only). A useful option would be “Show full address unless it is in your contacts.” Others would be “Hide full address (not recommended)” and “Show full address”.
