forwarding
I like many have used the forwarding feature to another email to help with checking emails on the go on multiple devices. Android needs a gmail account to even use, so why ruin that service for people who use it by canceling it and right on the new year? I am a legacy user who has found that feature among the most helpful. Taking it away further erodes your user base and functionality. This was shown last time your company tried to remove it and there was a massive online backlash. Do your users have to petition you for functionality that is already there and harms no one? It will be an effort to move entirely to another mail service but this lack of simple function makes it more than likely many will choose to.
