get everyone on subscription
not everyone can afford $5 at the moment for subscription. make it $0.99.
create a tool that allows you to bring up all websites with ticking boxes next to them and all it takes is 1 tick next to each to unsubscribe from all. thats just 1 tool to feature. people subscribe to things impulsively and when they open their emails theres all these insignificant emails that dont get open appearing in their mailbox. Make the subscription to yahoo unbelievably better than the unpaid version where you can actually notice the difference and will miss the paid version. then in a year cancel everyones subscription and put your tarif up by a dollar and so on. the whole world has yahoo accounts but not the whole world can afford $5 at this time. this will bring in more subscriptions and make it hard for people to leave the paid services after seeing the difference. try to go with no ads also instead of minimal. allow larger files to be sent so we dont have to use other services like dropbox. make it convenient for the user. yahoo has a great team of techs, im sure they can come up with many other great ideas which can keep the user on subscription.
