the amount of spam, bad spam, offensive spam is outrageous. What is wrong with your service? You are disgusting

This started yesterday in my inbox—mostly inappropriate and invasive. Considerable security issues, too. I thought I was paying for an ad-free service? Please stop this or I shall move my account.

I have been labeling fake emails from Mcafee anti virus to the spam folder for over a year and I am still getting emails stating that my subscription is about to expire. I have NEVER had Mcafee antivirus. I even tried to unsubscribe from the mail list. BIG mistake. Now I get more mail from them. Please make it stop. The spam filters don't work.

I agree. I get the same 10-12 SPAM emails every day, almost exactly the same, except slight variations in the fake domain they're sent from. I mark them as SPAM every day. For months. Yahoo still can't detect them as SPAM. And it's not like it's clever SPAM. They're amateurish - the one from "U.S. Bank" is nothing like what an actual bank would send.

From reading the comments below, it appears that yahoo does nothing to help their customers. Though it is a big inconvenience, I am changing my email provider.

I am receiving emails that should be going to my spam folder. These unwanted ads, etc. shouldn't be mixed in with my actual emails from people and companies I know. I looked at how to change my settings but did not see anything to help. PLEASE HELP!

The spam filter suddenly is not working and I am being bombarded with inappropriate and unwanted emails, I keep moving them to spam but they keep coming. But an email from my kid's school was sent to spam? WTF Yahoo?

Does anyone even get a response from these forum suggestions/ideas? I came to send them, yet another, request to do something about all the ridiculous spam.
I mean, this canine automatically filtered?
“??? ??????
???????????? ??? ??????? ?????“
Why would an email with this from name and subject?
Doesn’t sound like the paid version does any better.
I’m wondering if Yahoo even looks at these.
Just one more reason to head to another provider which sucks because I’ve had this yahoo mail since their inception.
Do better Yahoo! -

Guess I'm not the only one. I through the spam button was broken, but seems that you folks over at yahoo are just feeding our email addresses into the add grinder. I used to love yahoo, had this email since 2003, it was nostalgic and I have used it for almost 2 decades. Welp, say good bye, I'll route these emails to a gmail account and filter out your ads. Thanks!

Hi Yahoo...I've known for quite some time that your suck levels have been increasing. But since the beginning of the year, it has been out of control. I expect so much more from the media arm of the DNC. Goodbye and ********.

There seems to have been a change in the past months. I came here also to try to understand (or ask) why obvious spams land in my inbox.
When the subject is “R'eward!!!” and the sender is "✧LeMonde✧ <customerservicedekr@dekrtayanasolutions.com>" and the e-mail consists of a single image with an address at https://shorturl.me, it seems obvious to me that Yahoo Mail Plus is failing somehow in its service.

it's only $5.00 a month for an ad-free inbox. Most spam comes from people who engage in behavior like: making the message appear to be from Yahoo by forging the heading when you click to view the full message Or, use random e-mail addresses.
