yahoo mail and att.net mail stomping on each other
If you look up the thread "I try to log in with att.net site and it takes me to yahoo mail. Please help!". I have the EXACT OPPOSITE PROBLEM! Let me lay the ground work out. If I login to att.net FIRST, then log out, then click on my Yahoo mail browser link (https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym) I'm immediately DUMPED to my att.net log in. If I go to my Yahoo mail first, I get a screen that ASKS ME WHICH account, which, by definition, is stupid as the att.net is NOT id'ed as yahoo.com. Better yet, FireFox works better because both are present, MS Edge, never remembers the Yahoo mail and always have to fill out the "other account", which again (yes, it is a browser problem...but) is by definition, is stupid. You NEED to create separate cookies so these two stop stomping on each other...Wait! Not done yet. So, say I want to add another mail to my Yahoo mail in settings. Since you OBVIOUSLY identify an att.net mail as a yahoo account, I choose Yahoo account and run the login/signin to attach both together. Guess what happens? So the the pop up says that I logged in and out and wants me to sign in again...close this window and start browsing in my Yahoo mail...yup. I'm DUMPED out of my Yahoo account and straight into my att.net account. Ok, so use the SAME FEATURE from this end, YAHOO ISN'T EVEN A CHOICE HERE! WHAT! It is on the Yahoo end, but not here? Huh? Does that make ANY SENSE at ALL?
