12 months is not enough to delete emails without warning on revovery emails
I am seriously shocked to have come back to my email with everything deleted. I used to use the yahoo email when I was a kid, and occasionally came to check things and review stuff.
Everything is deleted, emails from my dad dad, friendships from highschool. With no information or warning to our recovery emails.
I think that's terrible.

Hi Joska, we do deactivate accounts if they haven't been logged into for 365 days. We send numerous communications to the alternative email on file. So make sure the alternative email is correct OR you even have one. If you need more info, we recommend contacting our Customer Care team at help.yahoo.com. They deal with all account or sign in issues. Thanks!
