About 2 weeks ago, my yahoo mail on my phone started to pop up a new window over the bottom 1/4 of the screen. It is a default reply window, and invites me to say or write something in response. I can get rid of it by clicking on an X box, but it happens for EVERY email I open, on my phone (GALAXY s22+) It just appeared, without any announcement from Yahoo. I searched for a way to turn it off, but couldn't find anything.
I asked Yahoo help, and they suggested that I delete Yahoo mail and re-install it, which got rid of the window for a few days, but then it came back. I asked again, and they said that it is a new development in testing, and there was no way to turn it off. They suggested that I post this message to this forum
Well, I want to give you feedback that this new feature does NOT meet any of my needs on my phone, and I would NOT want it on my PC either. It takes up space on the screen for EVERY email that I read, whether I want to reply or not, and cumulatively wastes a lot of my time. I also dislike the fact that you pushed it on to me without an announcement and without an option to turn it on or off. If you had made an announcement I would have tried it out and given you feedback, but this push is unconscionable. I hereby request that in your evaluation of this new " feature", you decide to include an option to turn it on and off, and that you notify me when that option comes availsble.

This is for feedback on Desktop, not the Yahoo Mail apps. We will share this with the team, but please provide apps feedback from the Settings section of the app or in the app stores. Thank you!

Testing new ideas on paying customers without notifying them of the testing is not polite or nice.. In fact, it is downright malicious.
