What happened to blocking e mails from the drop down menu ?

I can not block spam e mails any more.

    Hi Bud, the BEST way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam. Not delete or block. Marking as spam helps your spam filters and prevents that email from going to your Inbox. Marking as spam is part of basic Yahoo Mail! Thank you!
