Ad Banner across bottom of screen
Why is there a new advertising banner across the bottom of the page? 2 already exist on the right side of the screen. This covers up email where you can only see a small part of it. Is this an intent to have people pay a monthly fee?

Good way to ruin what used to be my favorite webmail. Considering dumping my Yahoo account after many years.
I almost deleted important emails because of that stupid ad bar at the bottom of my email, could not see them all.
on the side was fine but now I will have to change many site emails this is not cool at all if you only knew how many sites and financial institutions use my Yahoo email you got to be kidding me really, I am so mad right now you have no idea. guess I better get started with the change, yahoo messed up a good thing for money.

I can't even see my emails with that banner on the side. Good way to ruin what used to be my favorite webmail. Considering dumping my Yahoo account after 20+ years...
By the way, I never look at ads and I certainly wouldn't patronize anyone who annoys me like that! -

Hi, there is an ad right at the bottom of my mailbox that appeared suddenly. Kindly help to remove it because it is affecting the overall user experience.

If these ads are to stay then I will not. Regardless of the cost other services like live, Hotmail, Gmail are ad free. You have a week then if no change I will close all yahoo accounts immediately.

this new ad at the bottom of my email pane is the reason I am now going to start diverting my emails to another service

After 24 year, I will leave yahoo mail unless the add at the bottom goes away. The platform is literally useless with this disruption.

Please remove bottom ads! It blocks significant part of the screen. Side ads are OK, but bottom ads are huge mistake.

It's all but impossible to read emails with this thing on. It's like you're actively trying to discourage people from using your service.

Same as the others -- side ads are fine, even the ads that like similar to mail, but blocking out the bottom of my screen with yet another ad!? It's a little Ready Player One to me with y'all trying to see how many ads can be shoved onto one screen before the user goes crazy. Looking forward to this new "feature" going away!

I am adding to a comment I left earlier. I just realized you took out the ads what were interspersed in my email and added the one at the bottom of the page. Pretty sneaky way to make sure we see the ads! Not good!

I agree with previous comments, I don't mind the side ad but when the bottom ad showed up, that was super annoying! It blocks the bottom of emails and when your monitor isn't large to begin with it is very frustrating! Please get rid of it!!!

The ads in the margin slow down processing when they refresh, but the price we pay for a free email account. BUT THE ADS THAT YOU ARE NOW ADDING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY INBOX ARE DOWN RIGHT INTRUSIVE AND VERY ANNOYING!!! If you think you are driving me to pay for a premium account with you, think again. If these ads don't go away, I have no problem changing to a different free email service.

I had no issue with ads they were on the side I understand that is why the email is free, I even looked at some of them. The ad at bottom has just the opposite effect!!. It interferes with the reading of emails, it blocks out emails. I have been using this account for years, and would hate to switch, but I agree with everyone else this is the worst marketing idea, all it is selling is for people to move email accounts. I really like the way yahoo was setup, compared to other email accounts. I hope you will change this.

I accept having ads. I have even accepted the flashing ads on the right. But now with the new ads on the bottom, there is hardly ANY space for the content in the email preview. Please remove this bottom pane of ads or at least reduce it to a one-line chyron type of banner.

I very rarely post complaints or reviews about anything, but I logged in here to specifically beg you to PLEASE remove the banner ad from the bottom of my email. I understand that free services need to be ad supported and I don't mind the square ads on the right side of the screen, but the banner ad at the bottom takes up WAY too much space in the email preview pane. It seriously makes it hard to read emails. And, of course, last time I checked, reading my email is the whole point of logging in to my email.

The space taken up by the new ad bar at the bottom has now rendered Yahoo Mail almost totally useless. If this isn't removed quickly, I'll be moving to a new mail provider. I understand the need to collect income from Yahoo Mail especially when people want free email. But, the window already contains plenty of advertising space. Intruding further on the space we need to use email efficiently is ludicrous, and will, I predict, be the final nail int he coffin of Yahoo Mail if it isn't addressed quickly.

Update: We are merging all feedback related to the new banner ad at bottom to this one. That way our team who manages our ads, can also read all the feedback from our Community. Thanks!
