Ad Banner across bottom of screen
Why is there a new advertising banner across the bottom of the page? 2 already exist on the right side of the screen. This covers up email where you can only see a small part of it. Is this an intent to have people pay a monthly fee?

I used to get banner ads on the side out of the way with some companies putting "listings" embedded in my email list. The listings are gone and are now full banner ads at the bottom of the page blocking the body of my emails making them harder to read and making my email harder to navigate overall. Plus I still have the ads on the side. It sucks!!!!!!!! How dare you change my layout to add more ads!!!!!

It SUCKS ! It is a game changer, I'll get rid of Yahoo soon if they don't fix this issue.

I don't want to see the messages on the right. I prefer to click on each email and bring up each one at a time in a separate window.

there's now one at the bottom of the page so I can't actually READ MY EMAIL. God, Yahoo, sort yourselves out

Remove the ad at the bottom of the email view. It covers half the email, and every time the ad changes, it is very distracting and irks me to no end

Me again, I had not seen the comments and requests below to be more customer oriented.
I had thought I was doing something wrong but the change seems to be yours. Yours with out determine what the fall out would/will be or what the competition is offering. I have just done this part for you as I am a very long time Gmail customer as well. Hands down, your platform is more complicated and consumes more important space to you than me, the user.I will give you opportunity to listen to your users and correct this. If you feel your strategy is in your best interest then I will move on. i hope to see a much better platform by August 30 2024.

Very Critical!
I am a 25 year plus Yahoo advocate. Unfortunately the advertising now consumes more of my screen than the list of my emails and space to read them. This isn't for me anymore.
what are my options other than paying for an email account? -

I/we thank you for the access at no charge. However, it shouldn't be a blackmail. That's not freedom. You give or don't give. A free society should NEVER force ads on consumers whether "free" access or not, These ads ares simply stressors. Maybe you should start using your AI tools, you gathered enough data all these years, to analyze and see how many people read those ads to ask yourself whether it's worth annoying your yahool email "free" users with cost on their health with the stress of reducing system performane or having to close your ads pages, providing feedback endlessy with your repetive requests?

I do not think Yahoo needed more money, that they had to add more ads to the screen. I can only see 4 emails at a time now. I have been the last holdout for switching to Gmail but I guess Yahoo is just going to push us to change. I agree with all the comments below. As they say you are not going to make me pay for something I can get for free. It also doesn't work because like the one comment said I only see a white box.

You are cutting off 1/3 of my viewing area with the ads at the bottom. This WILL NOT get me to upgrade to premium! Why would anyone pay for email when there are so many free ones available, WITHOUT HUGE ADS AT THE BOTTOM!!! I will completely transition to gmail and dump yahoo.

I am really upset, so mush so I am looking to replace my email and web page. Your greed is killing the industry. Stupid idea, I cannot read my emails anymore. What were you thinking? You are going to loose a long time customer.

This box that allow you to visit the site needs to be removed or made optional, takes up too much space and it pretty useless.

I now have a 2" view screen to read emails with the bottom 1/2 of the view screen being blank. My browser blocks ads and after reading the comments I realized it was ad space. I am beginning the process of changing all my accounts to a gmail address so I can actually read my emails again. I think there will be a mass exodus if this is not corrected. Get greedy, get caught.

After reading the comments I realized the blank space on the bottom 1/2 of my view screen is ad space. My browser blocks all ads so all I see is a blank bottom 1/2 of the screen. It will be a major pain to change all my account emails to gmail, but that is what I will have to do. This 2" view screen on my laptop is not going to work. You have overstepped and I think you will have many email slots available very soon.
