Improve Spam filter
Please stop spam filter sending genuine message to spam folder.
For many years now I have had to search the spam folder for messages delivered from the messaging service in Gumtree.com.au. I always mark these as not-spam. Despite this, messages are always filtered to the spam folder. There is no reason for this, these are genuine messages for me from buyers or sellers on the site.
If the spam filter is doing this because of reports by other people, then they are using the platform incorrectly. Messages are only received from the platform when actively engaged with a seller or buyer to facilitate a transaction. If people are receiving unwanted messages from Gumtree it is probably because they have failed to remove an advert after selling an item (adverts on Gumtree expire after a short period anyway).
Please can you stop the spam filter sending messages from Gumtree users to the spam folder. The from addresses all of the format: seller-Abc123xyz789@users.gumtree.com.au (where Abc123xyz789 can be any random letters and numbers. Reply-to addresses are:seller-Abc123xyz789@inbound-mail.users.gumtree.com.au.
i.e. any messages with the domain ending 'gumtree.com.au' should not be filtered as spam.
