Suddenly I am getting condescending messages about awards and streaks. I feel extremely violated. I am not 2. I do not need to be “encouraged” by “badges” etc. You do not have my permission to track this information. Your customer support is horrible. I had to type my phone number in for someone to verify my account. That’s a huge security violation. I hate Gmail but I guess I have no choice but to get rid of yahoo because of your bad security,
What idiot thought people want to play games with email? Whomever thought of this “new feature” should be fired immediately. You are sick stalkers. I’ve had this email for 30 years. It will be a significant inconvenience to change it. I’m sure you won’t miss the revenue from 1 premium user. Let me see if I can get enough people to cancel so that you will care what your users think.
People who use your service are not using it for games. Email is not a game. You want to make new features? Try doing the basic things well. Try filtering out spam better. Don’t make it so annoying to have disposable addresses. Update your horribly insecure verification service. If you’re losing users, find out why and fix that. If you can’t do that, at least give PAYING customers a way to disable this. It is a MAJOR violation of my privacy that you are now tracking my daily activities. George Orwell called it “big brother.” I call it stalking.
