  2. cursor disappears

    Mouse cursor becomes invisible and does not reappear after moving the mouse. I have googled for a remedy and have found this is a common problem without a way to resolve. It makes editing the email to correct spelling or add a statement, etc extremely tedious. If this is purposeful, it is very short-sighted. After seeing others complain of this, I cannot believe it has not been corrected yet. Please fix this promptly. I am considering switching to another service.

  3. let me change my avatar/profile pic

    why can't I change my profile pic? I have changed it on my page, but when I send an email, some pic of someone I don't even know is my profile pic.

    Hi there. The profile picture is not sent with outgoing emails. Yahoo has no control over what image is used for an avatar by non-Yahoo email systems/apps. The only thing you can to is to update your profile image on any email apps your account might be connected to and unlink social networks from your contact cards in Yahoo Mail: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/link-unlink-social-networks-contact-cards-yahoo-mail-sln25582.html You can also inform any senders that have your old image to update your info from their side.

    This sounds like you may have reached the limit for blocked senders. We recommend clearing some addresses you blocked previously, to be able to block new ones.

  8. Forward dialog box does not scroll

    When trying to forward an email I've received, I click the To: button. It shows the first few contacts but will not scroll down to others. This feature works fine when composing new emails.

    Dear Yahoo Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to propose an enhancement to your email client's BCC (blind carbon copy) functionality to better protect user privacy and prevent accidental "reply all" incidents involving BCC'd recipients.

    As you may be aware, when a user is included in the BCC field of an email, their email address remains hidden from the other recipients. However, if a BCC'd recipient inadvertently clicks "reply all," their involvement in the conversation may be revealed, potentially leading to unintended consequences or embarrassment.

  14. Don't make 'improvements' without asking

    I was about to compose an email when another window popped up regarding seeing inbox whilst composing. Not fully understanding what it meant, I clicked on something and now can't see the full screen when composing. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE.

    Hi there. If you wish to have the full sized Compose window as default, please go to Settings>More Settings> Writing email>select ''Full-sized'' at the Compose window option.

  16. Documents not uploaded in attachments

    PDF files is not uploaded in attachments. When i am trying three pdf file (size less than 5mb) to upload in attachments it is not uploading showing some error and this problem i face like from last 30 days.

    The file size limit shows the file size allowed for all documents combined, so you won't be able to add the files if they're all 5mb each. If the combined size is 5mb however, please contact us at help.yahoo.com or Twitter @YahooCare and we'll look into it.

    Did not know emails would get deleted after a year of not signing in. i assumed i was just signed in on my phone. is there a way to get all my emails back?

    Currently, if a user doesn't log in to their account for 12 months (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 12 months), it is deactivated. Once this happens, emails that were in the inbox at the time of deactivation can no longer be recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Spell Check issue. Yahoo mail used to auto correct obvious misspellings, but no longer seems to do so. Now they are highlighted, but not corrected. I would vastly prefer that my obvious errors be auto corrected.

    While Yahoo Mail doesn't have an internal spell checker, many browsers have a feature that looks for errors when you write any type of document in a web page. Please review your browser's settings for this option.

  20. sent email ends up in draft

    I experienced this twice, I send an email that took a while to type but was sent in one sitting, ends up in draft. It does not send.

    I lost 2 job opportunities because of this already.
