Mail performance is abysmal today 12-3-18 - interface is super slow, won't render any pictures, basically a joke.
Really poor user experience today - 12/3/18. Navigation is very slow / long lag time. Pictures in mail will not display. Very unfortunate and continues to make the case to move to G-mail or Outlook.

repeatedly having to sign in after checking stay signed in only a few hours ago.
i had to sign in earlier this morning, and again this afternoon. even though i always check stay signed in. this is getting to be a nuisance, and i can see it's not a new problem nor is it only me. i am ready to go back to the 'old' yahoo.

I assume you are using a lot of Scripts running in the background for the sake of beautification but the Advertisement Scripts running in the background are a big menace hindering your page response speeds.
As this section is a platform to give you(OUR BELOVED OLDEST MAIL PROVIDER) some suggestions, my suggestion to you is to prioritize the basic operations on the page which are the purpose for your provided services and then load the page Scripts for advertisements.

Just leaving a feedback to whom it may concern:
I have my Yahoo Mail account (free) for almost 20 years, and I've been saving many emails since then.
Now I can not find any email (correctly saved in folders) from 2007 backward. Why did Yahoo deleted my old emails before April 2007? I've tried, with no success, many
ways to retrieve them (since Yahoo restores only 7 days old emails!) and I wrote to Forums as well.
Is there any other way to get those emails back?
I think there are no excuses for this action once I still have… -

My suggestion is to go back two revisions and scrap this and the last revisions. I hate it
