Upgrading the filters would be a good idea, a simple way to stop spam is to enable the ability to match the given name to the domain name. Most spam tries to convince you of its authenticity by putting the name of the domain as the sender name a simple if/else clause would make it easy to filter fake emails. It would be good if there was a "does not end with" option. Also it might just be me but I don't find the term "from" to be very clear, what does that actually mean? Is it the…

Ability to apply new filter to existing email in inbox... like Gmail does.
Universal rule: if you wish to beat the competition, you must at least provide what they do (or make the feature obsolete). Otherwise you are by definition lacking and inferior in the way of lacking.
In this example: The ability to apply new filters to existing emails in inbox.
Having to manually filter the email in my inbox because the new filter only applies to NEW emails ENTERING the inbox is a waste of my time, one which I'm not burdened with on Gmail.

Filtering capability needs upgrade now
I've really appreciated the more sophisticated filtering Yahoo email has provided but it needs to be upgraded for easier use now. There now exists email preparation programs that takes a list of contacts and customizes spam to send individual emails to recipients thereby bypassing your Yahoo spam detection which apparently looks for emails sent to multiple recipients. Taking the time to set up filters for all the new and growing customized spam using the current filter setup is now too impractical and will only get worse. Win 11 default e-mail client synch issues
21years user and i think is time to leave yahoo e-mail behind and check other e-mails providers. Yahoo starts sucks!! When you will fix the issues of synch with Win 11, windows default e-mail app ? If you just try to get more downloads on Yahoo app, Just this will never happened. Leave things as it was before.

Please let us delete an alias so that we can replace it with a new one. I have one active alias and would like to delete it, which Yahoo, despite the red delete button, which does not work, won't allow. I then want to replace it with another alias.
Please consider this seriously. Leaving old, unused aliases in accounts can cause problems for users, and from a design point of view is far from elegant. Why might replacing one existing alias with another prove problematic for Yahoo, as this would also help many users? -
